Chapter 24: Crime syndicate ' Cradle'

The college examination had started, Justin prayed to God for good marks in exam devoting himself to worshiping God and studying while Ashok at his villa enjoyed movies and comedy shows.

A Week went by the examination were near their end. Ashok had a lovely time as he was 100% sure that he will ace the exams. Justin had a few subjects which he had not performed well at but it was enough for him to be promoted to the next year without any backlog.

Justin knew that Ashok had moved from the dormitory to a different place, he just didn't know that it was a villa, he just though that Ashok just rented a place.

Ashok was told by Luther to not tell anything to Justin. He didn't want to involve Justin in any stuff as it would be dangerous also he thought that it would be hard for him to explain how he became such strong as well.

The news of the heroic cop who saved people from terrorist didn't died down but still had a bit popularity. Even now when Ashok felt sad for his loss of prestige points.

The head of the police department had got a call from the military and were forced to delete the footage they had.

The police were told to stop investigating about the incident. The military had not mentioned anything about the police having taken the credit of the incident but were happy that they took credit.

The head of the military was desperately searching for Ashok but couldn't find him, as he didn't even know the person he was trying to find.

He CCTV footage couldn't help him as well as the people who were taken hostages couldn't remember his face. The department responsible for the investigation wasn't that good at doing at the job as they didn't even had a single clue as to who could the person be.

The day Ashok visited the bank he was called there urgently and unofficially. His details were not taken as there was no need for it.

Because of this reason the police couldn't find the identity of Ashok.

One of the people in the investigation team had found a clue to the case as he interrogated the manager of the bank he said that there is one person who isn't in the list but was still in the bank.

He just figured out the identity of the person who dealt with the masked men.

The investigator contacted the head and told him about the identity.

" At last!!!!! Ashok Anand I am coming for you" he laughed evilly.

All the people in the meeting room were scared because of his evil laugh, as one of his subordinates explained,

" Please everyone don't be scared, it's just that our head suffers from a very strange disease that makes his laughter evil, he's a very nice person, don't think bad of him"

The head excused himself, " Sorry for that" he continued his meeting .

He had arranged a car to take him to city D.

The vice leader of the crime syndicate 'Cradle' had a spy in the military who told him about the info that the military head was going to come to city D.

Their first plan had failed miserably. They thought that it was the police officer in the news that was responsible.

" Our plan may have failed but we still have different ways to do things we can still kidnap the military head and the hero cop" he laughed evilly.

The examination had ended Ashok gave the last paper with confidence of acing the exam. He had planned that he would go back to the orphanage and pay a visit to this pops.

Even though it had been a significant amount of time since he talked with Luther, he was still curious about the past but didn't care that much as he thought that even after knowing the past of his parents it won't change his life.

He was mentally prepared for what the past would be. Ashok went back to his villa informed to the maids and chefs. He had recently bought a new bike on which he was going to go back.
