Demons and Beast descended, terrorizing the whole world for the past hundred years. Everyone can awaken a grimoire and summon a beast during their age of ceremony. Lucas, awakening the weakest grimoire, also awakened the weakest beast- a small dog with no combat capabilities. Fortunately, as a transmigrator, Lucas also mysteriously awakened a system that allows him to evolve his summons into their mythical beast counterpart. In Serene City, salt could be considered one of the cheapest and most widely available seasoning agents.
Recalling that Lucas came from another city, the five of them immediately thought that maybe salt was very expensive there, or perhaps there was no salt in where he came from before.
Thinking that Lucas and his fellow citizens were always enjoying the internet, they could not help but feel a sense of pride upon realizing that, in exchange, they don't have any salt to season their foods.
Seeing the look of pride in their faces, Lucas did not say anything and just waited for them to answer his question.
Traveling in the wilderness for weeks, he had always eaten roasted meat, and one without seasoning as he did not have any.
