Vampire hunters
Amara approached slowly, savoring the moment. The blood craft spear rotated lazily above her, tracking George's every twitch. Its energy crackled and hissed, promising devastating power if unleashed.
When she reached the edge of the crater, Amara paused. Her eyes, glowing with the same eerie red as the spear, locked onto George's. A small, satisfied smile played on her lips as she observed his battered state.
"Lesson learned, I hope?" Amara asked, her voice a mixture of amusement and authority.
With a casual wave of her hand, the blood craft spear began to dissipate. The red energy unraveled like a ribbon in the wind, fading into nothingness. The oppressive weight of its presence lifted, leaving George gasping with relief.
Instead of attacking again, she did something unexpected.
She laughed.
