A Gamble Worth Taking
Nathan flapped his four pairs of wings, easily lifting himself off the ground. He was quite familiar with the sensation of flying, as Edna had taken him up in the air before and he had also used to seeing the world from a height through Geen's eyes. From his aerial vantage point, Nathan beheld the immense figure of a hydra, now standing on its three pairs of legs.
"Damn it, how can I defeat it?" he muttered to himself.
With its large physique, high ranking General grade, and exceptional strength, Nathan would have a difficult time defeating it, particularly due to this monster's impressive regenerative capabilities.
"Are you planning to use the 'sword,' Master?" Luna's voice echoed, and soon after, her figure materialized, hovering close to Nathan.
Nathan paused, swallowing hard, his tense gaze fixed upon the sword. "I think that could be the best option," he said, "but I need to make sure that no one is watching when I do it."
