The Deal

"Henry? What are you doing here? How did you get in?"

"I have my ways. And Stuart wants to talk with you."

"How long was I out?"

"For three days. You are still on your heat."

What heat? That wasn't the time for it to come, and being underage and mateless, the heats can't be triggered, unless.

"He is provoked by your soulmate."

"YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE! NOT HIM." I screamed unconsciously, but soon I became silent.

"Oh! Is that right? Sweetheart."

I got embarrassed and ran out from the bedroom, going against something hard, making me close my eyes. After some seconds of silence, I decided to look, only to find Stuart with a confused expression.

"After hearing such nice words, did you think you could run away?"

"You must have heard wrong."

"I think even the neighbors heard." I heard Liam's voice next to me."I just got back and I'm getting caught up with all this nonsense."

"Where is mom?" I asked, looking around but no one answered "And father?"

The atmosphere got heavy all of a sudden and Stuart was the first one to talk.

"Well... They trade themselves for..."

"Don't! We have our hands full already." Henry warned.

"Then, I have a proposal to make, to both of you." The man said "I save your father and you have my kids."

"Don't accept it. It must be one of his tricks." Tom said.

"Why are you so against him? Did he do something to you?"

"Actually... It was the other way around. I was young, it was the first time that someone treated me well. I didn't have a family like you. My father was always drunk and he was human, and the day he found out what I was an omega, he... He sold me and my mom to Stuart's father. Until this day I regret hiding the connection to Stuart, but..."

"You can stop now." I said and he spent the rest of the time whining. "Now... Why do you hate omegas, Stuart? Is it because of Tom?"

Stuart, asked for everyone to leave and when we were alone he hugged me, asking permission to talk with Tom. I didn't really trust any of them, That's why I was a little repressive.

"We can talk through link." Stuart said, smilling "If you feel saver like that."

"I am going to be like a link myself?"

"Something like that."

I sat down on the sofa and closed my eyes, making a safe connection with Tom.

"Stuart wants to talk! Can you open the link to him?"

"I am scared! After what I was forced to do..."

"And?! Don't be afraid. Explain it to him." I told him before laying down, with my hands behind my head "I will just be here, like a communication pole."

Tom laughed and I concentrated so that they could hear each other well.

After a while they started to talk.

"Do you remember the flower I gave you?"

"The ones I crushed it on the ground? How could I forget?"

"Well... I keep them, but as time passes I started to feel scared... Seeing you... being treated that way... made me sick but I was just only a boy."

"I am the one to say sorry. If i didn't follow his orders, we would have mated, but... The day I died giving birth... I was thinking of apologizing. I just hope that the baby is alright!"

Stuart closed the link, surprising us both and then... He started to cry, before getting up and quickly leaving the basement.

"What is his problem?" Liam asked, walking inside. "Henry went after him."

"And the story repeats." I exclaimed before putting my hands over my face and letting out a cry of frustration, "Why does everything have to be so complicated?"

"I know you all must be feeling stressful, but I miss mom."

"You are right." I answered while getting up "Do you know where they are?"

"The last time I saw them was at Benard's pack."

"Very well." I understood and went near the wall, looking to the book I had thrown. Then I closed my eyes "It's the only way I am thinking."

"Are you sure you want to do it?" Tom asked, worried. "Let's start."

As i read the book, I could feel my energy  left my body, until I heard quick steps getting near and my head was lifted by the chin, at the same time the book fell.

"I no longer wish to possess your body." Stuart said without taking his hand off my face. "I am sorry to tell you Tom but, I no longer hold feelings for you. The pain was too much."

"Understandable." Tom said before locking the link and I got sad, I am sure that he was crying in the dark now.

"Now... Let's make the deal! Shall we?"

"Bullshit!" Henry shouted, taking Stuart's hand off my chin, making me relax the neck. "He is mine."

"Oh boy... " Liam exclaimed, making everyone stop and look at him. He covered his body with his hands, looking at us "You... Mother... And our father had two soulmates, while I have one. And now you are arguing about Who Dave is from." Suddenly, his voice became serious. "You should ask him!"

I know it was to make them stop, but why did he involved me?

"Dave! Choose who you want."

I was speechless, I was just going to accept the deal and save my parents, but the situation got complicated. They were fixed on me, waiting for an answer, something that I didn't have at the time, so I said.

"i just want to find mom and father, that's all."

"You don't have to force yourself. We will wait." Both of them said with a smirk "Once you are eighteen, you will see."

I froze, embarrassed, since I knew for sure what they were talking about, until I ended up getting so hot that I passed out.
