Chapter 2 -The unexpected

Feeling the urge to pee Jane wakes up in the middle of the night and rushes to the bathroom while still feeling drunk from last night.

After she was done peeing she washed off her face with cold water trying to sober up a little bit more. She heads towards her bed to check the time on her phone, staggering a little bit as walks off.

While Jane was looking at her phone she saw a new email notification that came in an hour ago while they were sleeping.

 Opening the email Jane saw that it was from Jayco company. "We are considering you for one of these vacant positions if you are still interested, come for an interview tomorrow" After reading the message, she screams in the middle of the night waking her friend up.

May rushes to her friend to check if she is okay as she has already sobered up. Jane showed her friend the email.

May was so surprised and happy for her friend that tears of joy started flowing again. "What about you? We should go together, maybe you can try applying for a position if you don't mind ".

Saying this, May happily accepts Jane's suggestion and the two friends clear the mess they had created from drinking.

They took a quick shower to sober up more as they would be going to an interview in the morning. When they were done. Jane gives May one of her night robes while she tries to pick an outfit for May.

Considering that May was more slender it took more time than expected as she didn't bring extra clothes while coming the other day. Finally settling for one the two ladies made sure to keep everything they needed for tomorrow ready as they didn't want to be late for the interview. When they were done they both set the alarms at 4 am and went back to sleep by 1:32 am.

Grrrr! Grrrrrrr! The alarm sounded twice waking the two ladies at once. May rushed to the bathroom to take a quick bath while Jane rushed to the kitchen to make a quick hangover meal for breakfast.

"Jane come and take your bath I am done" May's voice echoed from the bathroom.

"I am coming," Jane answered, giving the soup one last turn before turning off the gas. 

She rushed into the bathroom and also had a quick bath. After that, the two friends hurried their preparations as it was almost daybreak. They ate their breakfast so fast that they inhaled the soup instead of sipping it.

At the last drop of soup, the two ladies picked up their bags and dashed out of the house." May hurry up when the bus is at the station"! Shouting this from a distance Jane ran faster to keep the bus from leaving them behind. In a few seconds, May arrived at the bus breathing like a Marathon runner. Jane swiped her card for her friend as she didn't bring it while coming and they went in and took their seats.

"I wish us luck," May said, closing her eyes as if she was praying. ''Amen! I pray we both make it" Jane responded positively and this gave the two friends courage and faith. After a few minute's bus ride, they arrived at the front of Jayco company limited. 

It is a company that takes care of travel payments and bookings. It is every young person's dream to work at Jayco because the pay is very high and the working conditions are very comfortable. The two pretty ladies made their way to the entrance looking very beautiful. Especially Jane who had a very sexy figure and perfect smile had all the staff at Jayco whispering to themselves while taking turns to stare at her. Jane is indeed a very beautiful lady with a very envious height. As the two friends kept on walking inside looking around because everywhere was so beautiful and neatly organized. 

It was indeed nothing to compare with the town hall.

"Jane look they moving stairs and Elevators"! May could not contain her happiness as she whispered to her friend.

They were called back to reality when the voice of a lady asked them "How may I help you ladies"?

The two ladies turned to look in the direction of the voice to see a pretty lady in her late 50s with a tag written on her uniform "the head matron" so they answered back. 

"We are here on an invitation for an interview" To further prove her point as the lady was not taking their answer Jane brought out her phone to show the woman the email she received.

After the woman saw the email she said "Oh! You are almost late follow me at one"! As the woman started heading back inside using the elevator the two ladies followed swiftly and they walked inside the elevator before the door closed. After what seemed like a few seconds it stopped and the door opened to a sign written "interview room" very boldly. The woman walked out of the elevator and approached the door telling them to wait behind.

A few moments later she walked out and said they should come in. Jane and her friend walked in and quietly walked inside making sure to not make a sound with their shoes. When they had approached the round table. One of the three women sitting there asked them to take a sit. Jane and May sat down calmly trying their best not to show their anxiety and fidgeting hands.

"Jane, so you applied for a job here before, but we are considering you now because there is a vacancy for the position of personal Secretary to the boss and the position of bursar, which of these positions do you think you can handle? 

The woman asked Jane waiting to hear an answer. "Ma'am I would I think I would be able to handle the secretary position" Jane answered with her heart pounding hard. 

"And you young lady I believe you are her friend, can you handle the other vacant position"? Surprised as May was because she thought she would never be considered because she never applied for any position or job at Jayco. 

Without hesitation, May answered that she would be able to take the position. After some minutes of studying their resumes, one of the ladies said "We will let you know of our decisions, and welcome to Jayco Limited".

"You may go," another lady said with a smile, and Jane and her friend said, "Thank you, ma'am"! With a smile, they made their way to the door.

Immediately the door closed the ladies in the interview room started discussing amongst themselves whether to give them the job or not. One of the ladies kept complimenting Jane about how beautiful she was.

"I have never met one as beautiful as she is since my years of interviewing in this company. I hope her beauty draws out the CEO from his shell this time," the eldest lady in the room said and kept on checking out her resume.

Jane and her friend already were back home resting from the interview they went to earlier in the day. "Jane, do you think we will get the Job"? May asked with a worried look. Jane said she hoped they get it this time because they already lost their current job at the town hall.
