Waiting for Ning Qi
Li Ping, Jia Li, and Yi Ran looked at Nangong Xu, who was going away at a fast speed with a 'rag doll' in his hand. It looked very cinematic to them. They didn't know what happened or why the police didn't stop him, even after he did something like almost killing people.
And what is even more atrocious is that they let him abduct a full-grown man with a 'polite' smile on their face.
The crowd quickly gathered around them, raising a ruckus about injustice, which they had previously failed to do.
"Is that girl really Ning Qi's sister? She is extremely cute and beautiful." Yi Ran spoke a bit absentmindedly.
"Who is that other girl, though? She looks gorgeous and polite on the outside, but I felt a bit of pride in her eyes. Haven't you guys felt that?"
Yi Ran inquired, finally turning her head to look at the two of them, who was still staring in the direction Nangong Xu took.
"Ran Ran! Why are you interested in such a thing now when there is an extremely important thing that we should be curious about?"
Jia Li said as the two of them finally turned their gaze away from Yi Ran. They both rolled their eyes at this girl, who is usually very intelligent.
But the question she is interested in is a bit too much for them after all of them went through so many ordeals in a span of half an hour.
They are scared at first about what is going to happen to them, then sad about Li Ping's life.
Their thoughts then turned to happiness as someone came to help them during such a difficult time, and they were taken aback by the people who came to help.
Lastly, their minds are confused and in bewilderment, as they thought they weren't living in the same world anymore.
"No! I'm just saying... " Yi Ran also felt a bit bad about that question, as this isn't the right time. She said it in a low voice with a bit of embarrassment.
"It's alright! Wen Fen is a good girl, but she has a lot of interest in Ning Qi. But that fellow never showed that kind of interest in her, even though he is aware of that. But I and Jing know her well, she is a very calm person, and she is also someone who doesn't talk much unless she is close to them. So, many people think that she is kind of arrogant or prideful."
Li Ping explained that he knew her character better. He remembered the time he also thought the same about her. It wasn't until they met some more times that that girl finally got closer to him.

Jia Li couldn't help but complain and change the topic to the most important point immediately. When Li Ping saw her getting worked up, he couldn't help but reach out and pinch her cheeks.

She felt the phrase 'after sadness comes happiness' is kind of really true.
"Alright, Alright... We can just ask Ning later about the mystery surrounding this. I have never seen him practice any of these things before, even when we were in college. But you also know his 'wifey' and siblings are in the martial arts world too, right?"
Li Ping spoke as he thought back to the past. He was there in Ning Qi's life for almost eight years, and he is 'everywhere' in almost all the chapters of his life.

Nangong Xu, on the other hand, has already gone back to the sect. He looked at the fainted Kuang Pei before moving into the arena hall.

Kang Xuan also came to him with curiosity, but not as much as Shen Yue. Nangong Xu didn't respond immediately, as he looked at Shen Yue, who is wearing black Nike shorts and a black Jordan top.
She looked a bit sexy in that outfit with all that toned body. She daily wears loose joggers, and as such, he used to not have many lewd thoughts, even though he always liked her.
Shen Yue, who is still waiting for the answer, looked at Nangong Xu's eyes, which are currently resting on her thighs, and instantly made her face turn bright red. She felt a mixture of anger and shyness as she looked at him.
"Nangong Xu, have you seen enough? Or do you want me to get you a chair so that you can sit and watch slowly?"
Shen Yue yelled angrily, her face flushed, dragging Nangong Xu from Heaven to Hell. Sweat dripped from his brow as he looked apologetic and terrified at Shen Yue.

"Yeah! Yeah, I believe you. It's the floor that is too beautiful, it took your breath away. Whatever! just tell me what's going on with this guy." Shen Yue rolled her eyes when she heard his reasoning.
Kang Xuan, who just stepped back a bit to give space to this 'couple' again moved toward them, as he saw Shen Yue asking about the important things again.
He also felt that this senior brother of his was a bit too much, as he couldn't even come up with proper reasoning and lied directly, thinking people were stupid to believe him.
Nangong Xu felt a bit awkward, knowing he had failed miserably. But he was also relieved that she wasn't dragging this out to embarrass him. He adjusted his mind for a bit and slowly narrated everything, surprising them.
"This guy truly is an awful and unlucky one to mess with the sect master's friends." Shen Yue spoke as she eyed Kuang Pei.
"Let's just wait for the sect master to come out before we decide on how to deal with him. I don't think the sect master will agree on killing a normal person."
Kang Xuan said his opinion, instantly making the two of them look at him weirdly.
"Junior brother! We didn't say anything about killing him... Your mind is not in the right frame. Go and start cultivating right now, please." Nangong Xu said as he felt this uncle is a bit too much. Even though he did say something similar to Li Ping.
