Happy Kang family

Around 10 odd minutes after Ning Qi walked out of the room, Kang Jia felt neither pain nor weakness. By contrast, she enjoyed the jubilant power coursing through her body, which made her cells cheer with joy.

She slowly stood up from her bed, still thinking like the dreadful pain will intensify if she moves briskly. But she undoubtedly felt nothing at all and stood up steadily. Kang Mei on the other hand subtly tried supporting her big sister without understanding why her sick sister is standing up.

Kang Jia cleared her tear-strained eyes and a radiant smile blossomed on her face. She then looked at Kang Mei who is examining her a bit worriedly and timidly. She couldn't help but gently pinch her lovely cheek, before saying.

"Meimei! Don't worry anymore, sister is cured by the big brother just now. We can soon go back to our home... We are never coming back to this place again."Kang Jia explained happily to her sister. She never wants to come back to this place, as it is, nevertheless, the place, where all her bad and good memories will tie together.

"Oh! really Sister? That bad guy really cured you? " Kang Mei enjoyed the happiness in her sister's words. But she didn't trust Ning Qi from the very start so she couldn't help but seek her sister for confirmation.

"What bad guy? The big brother is the best person that our family met. Don't bad mouth big brother anymore or else I will spank you." Kang Jia got amused by her sister's personal prejudice against Ning Qi. But Ning Qi is however their benefactor, so she has to carefully teach this little sister some proper manners.

Just when she finished saying that, four familiar people came into the room. An angry Kang Xuan, a sullen and concerned Mrs. Kang along with his brother and Mrs. Kang's sister.

Kang Xuan got thoroughly angry with his foolish wife's careless behavior. But he didn't scold her anymore, as it will inappropriate to reproach her in front of Ning Qi, who suggested this. It would naturally make it look like he is contradicting him.

But the four of the abruptly stood there with apparent confusion, shock, and disbelief written all over their faces. None of them can respond to what they are experiencing right now.

They saw Kang Jia standing up firmly, with a radiant smile. All the more, that is not what bewildered them, it is her face, which looked thoroughly sick just 20 minutes ago. But now it has a healthy rosy gleam, as though her youthful skin is glowing.

Finally! Kang Xuan and Mrs. Kang responded appropriately, before holding Kang Jia in their hands carefully.

" Jia! Why are you standing up? aren't you feeling hurt? Let mother support you to bed." Kang Jia's concerned mom said subconsciously.

"No Mom and Dad! I've all been cured now... that Big brother Ning, dad asked for help completely cured me. "

Kang Jia said while crying in her parent's comforting embrace.

"Oh! Where is Mr. Ning? Why are you saying you are all cured now? " Kang Xuan earnestly asked with a bewildered expression.

"Yeah! That ba- big brother popped something into sister's mouth, it looked like a medicine tablet. That's it, now sister is not suffering any pain at all... see? Sister's face is so beautiful now." Kang Mei justly said from the side, she genuinely wanted to call Ning Qi a bad guy again but recalled her sister's words, before reorganizing it or else her sister will spank her.

"Little Jia, Tell us what exactly happened to us from the start, without omitting a single detail." Knag Ming suddenly interrupted all of them. His voice contained eagerness, which he usually lacks.

Everyone is a bit surprised by that, but no one objected to it. Mrs. Kang, still worried for her baby, slowly walked Kang Jia to her bed.

Kang Jia sat on her bed helplessly and started narrating from the start. She didn't even miss out on the specific details of him gently caressing her little sister's hair, marking himself as a bad guy.

When all of them heard this, except for Kang Ming no one subconsciously believed it.

"Big brother! Do you however remember when we were still working on Dan Cheng's private house? Little miss of the house was cured of her paralysis with a single pill by that Daoist master? " Kang Ming recollected his memory, of when he and Kang Xu used to work, as odd job workers in that house at that time.

He doesn't know whether he got the chance to encounter such a magical thing or if it is suddenly bursting the bubble, and reality will slap the hell out of them. His hopes are raised to an abnormal level for his daughter... but he is afraid, that everything is just a false hope.

Seeing all of them are suddenly blanked out again. Kang Jia couldn't help but giggle, as she knows her condition better than anyone.

"Why don't we go and do the test? We have the doctor-provided testing prescriptions, dad. Let's go and conduct the testing, and we don't need to worry about the doctors knowing it or someone else. We can just ask them to test, right?"Kang Jia said while sitting on the bed. She wants to get away from here as soon as possible.

"Alright! But, you are absolutely fine, right? you are not feeling any pain anywhere? " Seeing her husband is unable to take a decision, Mrs. Kang who doesn't want to waste any more time on her daughter's business, decided for them. No one uttered anything, as all of them harbor similar thoughts, but no one has the guts to accept the vain hope they hold onto.

They placed Kang Jia in the middle, and the four adults carefully surrounded her and Kang mei in the middle, before walking out of the cancer surgery ward.

They soon walked to the lab that conducts tests. They gave the receipt that the doctor wrote for them yesterday to the lab assistants there and paid the money.

kang Jia underwent a series of CT scans, MRI scans X-ray scans, Ultrasounds, etc. By the time the test results came, its already 5 pm.

Everyone waited nervously, Mrs. Kang behaved a bit bravely before coming here... But now she started praying to all the gods, whether she knows or not. Time started moving very slowly for them, but Kang Jia typically knows what the accurate results will be already, as such she is not nervous at all.

Soon a middle-aged man, looking to be a doctor came with their reports in hand. Their hearts started pounding at abnormal levels... Kang Xuan even started sweating a bit.

If a doctor suggested this many test means, he may have a 90% surety that the patient is suffering from cancer. They may just want to check which stage it exactly is in... But, this time one of my doctors made a mistake in their judgment. Here take the results and don't worry much, your baby daughter is very healthy."

That middle-aged person observes them from the exact moment they entered the lab... But after witnessing all the tests that the little girl undergoing, he got bewildered.

He is the vice dean of this hospital, but he carries out one more superior role, that is he is the principal of the Medical University too. Hence, he instantly knows, that the girl is undergoing the tests to recognize which stage cancer usually is in.

But what bewildered him is, that every test shows that she has perfect health conditions. Consequently, he thought one of the doctors may have made a mistake in their judgment. He noted his name to inquire about this later.

After giving their reports, that doctor went away with a satisfied smile. He is also glad this little girl is not suffering from a terminal illness.

Kang Xuan, on the other hand, collapsed on the floor with great relief. Mrs. Kang and her sister held Kang Jia crying happily.

Kang Ming also has a silly smile on his face, which doesn't suit his serious face. Little Mei looked at everyone, who are crying and at the same time smiling, she didn't know what to follow and her brain started malfunctioning.

After 10 precious minutes, everyone properly sorted their emotions a bit and hurriedly walked out of the hospital area, after willingly paying the remaining bill amount. They don't want to stay there another minute.

"Big brother! I think our eldest brother is going to sincerely regret it forever. Now you are invited to become a Daoist too... Hehe! " Kang Ming said with a smug after they had come out of the hospital. According to him, Ning Qi is also a Daoist.
