No One Dares To Lay A Finger On Du Lixin's Wife

Du Lixin sat in his office, impatiently waiting for Xiao Li to call him and report to him about being fought with in school but she never called. He was tired of waiting so he called Xiao Li.

"Sweetheart."

"Yes?" Xiao Li answered from the other line.

"Why didn't you tell me someone fought with you today?" Du Lixin said with a harsh tone.

"Du Lixin I..."

"Don't even try to lie to me. Xiao Li I have told you countless time to call me whenever someone bullies you or try to pick up a fight with you. Xiao Li I am your husband, you have a rich and powerful husband so why will you act like you have nothing?"

"Du Lixin it was nothing much, I dealt with it myself." Xiao Li tried to reassure him.

"And you were slapped." Du Lixin's voice was getting more cold.

"Yes but I slapped her back and wait, Du Lixin are you watching me?

"Is it a sin to make sure my wife is safe. I'll make that girl pay."

Xiao Li was already getting scared because she knows what Du Lixin can do. "Du Lixin I said it's already settled, I made sure she took a red face home so no need to make her pay."

"No one dares to lay a finger at Du Lixin's wife." He said and hung up.

"Du Lixin Du Lixin." Xiao Li tried to call but he has already hung up.

She sighed helplessly and shook her head. "She brought this upon herself."

At The Du Firm

Du Lixin spoke to Su Junfeng with the most intense voice ever. "I need you to find everything about that girl, her family's background, her home, her family's business and every other thing. I'll start the torture with her family. No one dares to lay a finger on what belongs to Du Lixin."

"Okay." Su Junfeng said and was about to walk out.

"Go to Xiao Li's school and bring her here. You can go now."

"Okay sir." Su Junfeng bowed and left.

Xiao Li walked into the office and Du Lixin immediately shifted his gaze from what he was doing.

He smiled warmly at her. "Sweetheart come here."

Xiao Li smiled slightly and walked over to him. Immediately she was close enough, Du Lixin made her sit on his lap.

"How was your day?" He said with a smile.

"It was okay." She said plainly.

Du Lixin knew something was wrong since her mood wasn't bright. "What is it sweetheart, did something happen again?"

"Du Lixin can you please not let her pay for what happened?" Xiao Li pleaded.

She knew that if Du Lixin decides to take care of Zhao Fei, her life will be over. She remembered what happened to that manager for just looking down at her, but Zhao Fei's part was worse, she even slapped her. She wanted Zhao Fei to pay for slapping her but Du Lixin might make her commit suicide if he takes care of it.

Du Lixin face immediately fell. "So you are still worried about that. Xiao Li that girl dared to lay her hands on you and that's not something that would go without a punishment."

Xiao Li sighed. "I know but I already took care of that by slapping her also so there's no need to punish her again."

"Xiao Li I'm ready to listen to what ever you'll say today but not that, I can't let her go. So please don't try to make this hard for us."

"Du Lixin.."

"No Xiao Li there's nothing you can say about that." Du Lixin said.

Xiao Li tried to think of something she can do to make him remove the thought of punishing Zhao Fei. She had an idea but she really hated it, well she has no other option.

She held Du Lixin's face and kissed him slightly on the lips. Du Lixin didn't respond and she kissed him again.

He knew what she was trying to do but this time he's not gonna take it.

"Sweetheart there's no use trying to bribe me with that, I said it earlier I'm not listening to you this time."

Xiao Li sighed in defeat. "Okay." She was thankful he refused, because she was already thinking of how to get up from his bed today.
