Escape is not one of the solutions

I woke up to the sound of a whisper next to my room and sat for a short while to comprehend what happened in that old factory for a moment I thought it was just a nightmare until I felt a severe pain in my thumb, then I was convinced that what happened was not a nightmare I looked at the clock it was 9 am.

I stood to get out of the room and at that moment a terrifying thought came to my mind that made me fall in front of my room door, is that possible? Surely they are not that stupid I stood again and slowly began to approach the window I looked from the side of the window cautiously and here my suspicions were confirmed. They already knew my identity.

Outside my house stood two big men. Everyone who sees them will know without a doubt that they are gangsters. The two men looked out the window the moment I looked out the window and without a doubt they saw me.

I walked out of the room and what I saw made me feel useless because of the look on my family's face that was tearing me from the inside without any mercy. When my mother saw me, the look in her eyes changed quickly and said, "Arthur, you're awake, are you okay now? Do you feel any Pain ? "Dad looked at me and said, "Good morning Arthur, are you feeling better?" I looked at them for a moment, unable to respond, then said in a weak voice, "I'm sorry."My father looked at me calmly and said, "Arthur, sit down a little and let's talk."

I sat quietly and then I looked at him and said, "They knew my identity because I lost my phone there." He interrupted me and said, "Arthur, you already know the situation in the city, and you know that even if they knew who you were, they wouldn't put men to watch you outside your house, so I know you did something that provoked them seriously. No I know what you did, but you did something you shouldn't have done. "Mother interrupted him" Richard calm down. Arthur didn't do anything wrong, so don't blame him for something he didn't."Richard looked at her and said, "Martha, then why is that damned gang waiting for him outside the house?" He looked at me and said, "Didn't you think about your family before you provoked that gang?"

I looked at him for a moment and felt like I at least understood what I should do so I stood up and said, "You're right. I didn't think about my family when I pissed off that gang." Richard looked at me in astonishment. I denied what he said and defended myself. Then I looked at him and said, "Don't worry, I'll get you involved in my problems anymore."My mom looked at me in shock. I didn't know I was so good at acting. Then I said, "Goodbye."

At that point, I was convinced that escaping from that gang wouldn't be one of the possible solutions, so I should at least keep my family away from it.

When I approached the door of the house, I found Serene looking at me crying, "Why did you lie to them?"I couldn't answer her, so I looked at her for a bit, then opened the door of the house and got out.

I went to the two men standing outside the house and said, "I think you're here for me, aren't you?"
