Chapter 28: Accident
Rick's pov
We had successfully did our meeting and were heading back to the hotel, you look tired? I asked riya, oh yes I actually didn't get good enough sleep last night. Why? What happened, oh I don't get well enough sleep when I change my surroundings, I guess my childhood trauma.
I knew abt riya's past and how horrible it was I stayed still in my place when riya asked me what happened I pulled her into my arms, and she was stunned to speak. I promise u, I will protect you no matter what, and I kissed her forehead. She hugged me back I know you will always protect me, we were hugging eachother for very seconds before getting spreaded I didn't want it but I had to.
There was a few seconds of silence before Riya begging me to buy her Ice cream for her. I smiled at her childish nature and asked which flavor, chocolate. I headed out of the parking area and when to icecram hub I ordered the icecream and when I looked back riya was also heading my way but then I noticed that there was car behind riya. and without a second thought I ran towards riya and before the car could hit her I pushed her aside and we both fell to the ground.
I looked at the direction of the car and before it could disappear from my eyesight i remembered it's number plate. My head was spinning and my vision was getting blurry, riya called the ambulance as soon as possible I looked at her and asked are you fine? I am fine Rick. But ur injuried baldy, my head got hit to something really hard and I was Bleeding.
People around the area who saw what had happened came near us to help us, my injury was given a first kit, I was sitting in the ambulance when riya walked up to me Rick how are you feeling now? I am fine, it's them the are back of us again. Riya's face turned pale, we should inform Mr. Zack don't call him rgt now. I will talk to him abt this when I meet him for now keep act as if nothing hap let's go back to the hotel. Riya agreed and we left from there.
After and hour we left the hotel and went to the area of the festival of the local people leaving in the area, we were roaming through the streets when we spotted Zack and all. We caught up to them, where were you guys? And what happened to your head may asked in concern.
Oh I just fell down from the stairs while coming here so we became late. You don't hv to worry abt it it's a small injury Rick said reassuring to everyone. Anyways let's enjoy street fest and then everyone were busy in some or the other local shop when I spotted Zack waiting alone for Mia to come back from a shop.
I approached him, without a hesitation he asked what happened. It was car it came to hit riya but she is fine, it's probably them HD nodded, wt is ur plan? Zack we cant involve any of our dear ones in this. For now let's act as if nothing is happened I told my people to be here as normal peopel in this street feast if anything happens.... I agreed to Zack.
Then Mia came will a hand full of cotton candy and she gave one to Zack,wt is this? He asked looking at the cotton candy. You never had one of them in ur entry life , he looked at that thing surprisingly. Behind Mia riya was also there even she brought a full hand of cotton candy, now you also don't tell that you have no idea wt is cotton Cady nope neither do I?
You never had a cotton candy in your life Mia asked yes we replied. Wt is there so special in this cotton candy I asked, take one bite u will realize i took one bite then Zack also took a bite it's delicious, its good I replied. I took the whole Cady candy from riya who was enjoying it riya's jaw dropped I brought it for me. So, I want it if you want it then catch me and take it from my hand and I kept my hand in the air she tired jumping to catch it but she couldn't. I am not taking to you saying that she went from there.
I went from there to convince riya not to be mad at me, but I looked back and I could clearly see how happy Zack was with Mia. I never saw Zack so much happy in his life, mia is truly a gem I smiled and then I went behind riya to convince her not to be mad at me.
