When the timer hit exactly 00:00, we heard a large buzzer, and the entire room quietened.
If there is anyone who was unable to find a partner in time, please exit the room immediately. There were the words that were displayed on the screen next.
I didn't expect anyone to be eliminated so early, however I was mistaken.
About eight people left the room, five girls and three boys.
'It would have been more beneficial if more people left, but for now, I guess this will have to do,' I thought to myself.
When they all finally left the room, the door was shut firmly behind us, and the loud bang of the lock sent chills down my spine.
If I messed up in this challenge, all my hardwork for the last couple of months would've been for nothing.
The countless hours spent reading at the library after class each, would all be for naught.
But for some reason, I found that I wasn't scared at all.
