My trembling subsided as I lay against the hot body, the temperature of the water had meanwhile turned comfortable for me.
"Look at me." The voice sounded deeper than before, getting clearer. As long as I could identify the direction it came from, it was no problem to follow it. I turned around, and my back pressed against my companion's lower part. He was reacting by taking in a sharp breath at the involuntary touch, but nothing more.
"Open your eyes."
I obliged and opened my eyes, only seeing the darkness, as a hand was placed tenderly on my cheek.
"Come closer, let me see if your eyes are injured."
I moved with the hand, not really caring about the blindness anymore, as long as it wasn't a matter of my own body, of my own world. In this world, albeit scarier since the voice changed, I felt safe enough with my companion. This experience wasn't my own, being just a visitor from another world.
