Matteo's POV

Once Lilian left, Adrian turned to us and smiled.

/"Papa, you guys promised to show me around the pack today./"

/"Umm today.../"

Romeo started and he started pouting.

/"Are you...not going to? On...on my birthday./"

/"No, no. I mean./"

He started pouting even more and Romeo gave up.

/"Fine./"

/"YAY!!!/"

I just smiled and stood up too.

I grabbed my jacket from the racket and followed them out.

Once we got outside, the people that were there started bowing to us and Adrian started laughing then waving at everyone.

Everybody loves Adrian. He's always cheerful and always manages to make everyone smile wherever he goes. His presence alone is calming. Maybe that's why a lot of people likes him.

I picked him up and put him around my neck making him smile.

/"So, where do you want to go?/"

/"Then let's go to the candy store./"

/"But....your mom's gonna-/"
