New teacher

Arjun and the mysterious boy maintained a tense silence, their gaze lingering for a moment before each choosing to ignore the confrontation. As the principal's speech concluded, students dispersed back to their classrooms.

Back in Arjun's class, he found his seat next to Nandini. The boy who had issued the threat also returned to his place, accompanied by a girl sitting beside him.

The classroom had a four-row, four-column arrangement with tables and benches allowing only two students to sit together.

As the three boys entered the commerce stream classroom, the boy who had confronted Arjun earlier remained silent. However, the girl beside him didn't hold back, criticizing him as a "useless leader." Ignoring her insult, the boy maintained his composure.

The trio approached Arjun, leaving Nandini puzzled about their connection. The anger within one of the boys escalated quickly. He seized Arjun by the collar, forcing him to stand before his piercing gaze.

Nandini, furious at the aggression, intervened, demanding the boy to let go.

"Leave him alone, Karan!"

Karan, consumed by jealousy and anger, found it hard to accept Nandini siding with Arjun. His possessiveness over Nandini fueled his resentment, intensifying the volatile situation in the classroom.

Before the situation escalated further, Miss Kapoor, the new Economics teacher for the 11th-grade Commerce stream, entered the classroom. Despite being her first day, she was taken aback by the scene unfolding before her.

Miss Kapoor was a striking figure, exuding confidence and poise as she stepped into the room. Her youthful appearance belied her years of experience, and her radiant smile instantly captivated the attention of the students.

Dressed in a chic ensemble of a navy blue pencil skirt paired with a crisp white blouse, Miss Kapoor epitomized elegance. Her complexion was flawless, with a warm olive tone that complemented her dark, cascading curls. Her hazel eyes sparkled with intelligence and kindness, and her angular features were framed by a pair of stylish glasses that added an air of sophistication to her appearance.

As she surveyed the scene, Miss Kapoor's expression shifted from surprise to concern. A boy stood holding the collar of another, while a girl intervened, trying to defuse the tension.

Despite the chaos unfolding before her, Miss Kapoor maintained her composure, her authoritative presence commanding attention as she addressed the situation with a calm yet firm demeanor.

As Miss Kapoor entered the classroom, her eyes widened in surprise at the scene unfolding before her. With quick yet composed steps, she made her way toward the commotion, her presence commanding attention even amidst the chaos.

"Excuse me, what's going on here?" Miss Kapoor's voice cut through the tension, her tone firm yet tinged with concern.

Nandini, still trying to shield Arjun from Karan's grasp, looked up at the newcomer, relief washing over her as she saw someone intervening. "Um, we don't know, Miss," she stammered, her voice trembling slightly.

With a mixture of relief and apprehension, Arjun glanced up at Miss Kapoor, silently pleading for assistance.

Miss Kapoor assessed the situation quickly, her gaze shifting from Karan's clenched fists to Arjun's bewildered expression. With a deep breath, she stepped forward, gently but firmly placing a hand on Karan's shoulder.

"Let go, please," she instructed, her voice steady and authoritative.

Karan hesitated for a moment, his grip tightening on Arjun's collar. But under Miss Kapoor's firm gaze, he reluctantly released his hold, his anger simmering beneath the surface.

With Siddharth and Abhay's assistance, Karan was ushered out of the classroom, their murmured voices barely audible over the lingering tension. Miss Kapoor turned her attention back to the rest of the class, her brow furrowed in concern.

"Is everyone alright?" she inquired, her gaze sweeping over the students gathered before her.

The students exchanged uncertain glances, unsure of who this woman was or why she had intervened. They remained silent, their eyes darting between each other and the unfamiliar figure standing before them.

Miss Kapoor offered a reassuring smile, her demeanor calming the unease that had settled over the room. "Let's all take a moment to compose ourselves," she suggested, her voice gentle yet authoritative.

As the class settled back into their seats, Miss Kapoor addressed the students, her tone calm yet authoritative. "I'm here to help," she assured them, her eyes meeting each student's gaze in turn.

Despite the lingering tension, Miss Kapoor's presence brought a sense of reassurance to the classroom, her calm demeanor a beacon of stability amidst the confusion.

As Nandini stood up, her voice clear and confident, Miss Nidhi nodded in acknowledgment. "Thank you for confirming, Nandini," she said with a grateful smile.

Turning her attention to the rest of the class, Miss Nidhi began the process of getting to know her students. She moved from desk to desk, engaging each student in a brief interview to learn more about them and their backgrounds.

One by one, the students shared their names, interests, and aspirations with Miss Nidhi. She listened attentively, making mental notes to better understand each student's individual needs and preferences.

However, as Miss Nidhi made her way around the classroom, she noticed a subtle signal from a girl sitting just behind Arjun and Nandini. Following the girl's gaze, Miss Nidhi's eyes landed on a boy slumped in his seat, his head resting on his desk as he slept soundly in the middle of the class.

Suppressing a sigh, Miss Nidhi approached the sleeping student, gently nudging him awake. "Excuse me," she said softly, "but it's time to wake up and join the rest of the class."

Miss Nidhi leaned in close to the sleeping boy's ear, her voice barely a whisper as she gently nudged him awake. "Psst, wake up," she said softly, her tone tinged with amusement.

Startled by the unexpected voice in his ear, the boy jolted upright, rubbing his eyes in confusion. But as his blurry vision cleared, he found himself face to face with Miss Nidhi, her expression a mixture of amusement and exasperation.

"A ghost!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in panic. "There's a ghost in the classroom!"

Miss Nidhi couldn't help but burst into laughter at the boy's reaction, her own amusement contagious as the rest of the class erupted into giggles.
