It's been 2 days and Mary was still travelling in the road to the town of Rockford on the coast of California. The midday hot sun shone brightly.

" HAAAAAA, are we there yet? "

Rickey ask.

" It will take some time, be patient "

"how can I be patient Jimmy ? we've been travelling for days, we're almost out of food and we have no water. "

Rickey continue to complain about the condition they were traveling while Mary kept pondering about what denziel has told her. He said she must be careful of danger and hope roselina doesn't falls into the wrong hands.

Then she started remember the two vampires she encounters in the Lands of No Return.

( Those Vampires, their strength was off the chart, if we fought them, we would have been crushed instantly)

Mary though to herself.

" Mary, are you alright? "

Elaine ask with concern.

" I'm fine, I was just thinking about something "

" Don't worry, we'll find your friend for you "

" Thanks Elaine "

Two days later.

The town came into sights, Mary and the others felt happiness. They arrived at the gate and flashed their hunter badge, after that they were granted access into the city.

" This place is more vibrant than the town we lived in "

Rickey said .

" Yeah, they smell of fish is strong "

Mary looks around at the people that were selling fish, lobsters, crab and other seafood.

" We should stop by the guild first "

Jimmy suggest.

" I agree "

Rickey and the others walks into the guild that's seem partially empty.

" It seems there aren't many hunters in this town "

Said Mary.

After observing their surroundings, Mary and her friends walk up to the receptionist and introduced themself as hunters.

" Oh, so your hunters from the in land, what brings you to this town ?"

The receptionist ask.

" We're looking for a girl, She's a friend of mine "

Said Mary.

" Oh, what's her name then? "

The receptionist ask again.

" Her name is Roselina Lambrosa De Valentine, She's about 12 years old and has white hair tied in twin tails "

" Did you say Roselina? "

Everyone in the guild stopped and looks at mary and the others.

" Yes, Do you know her? "

Mary ask.

" Of course everyone knows her, She hasn't been in the city for long as yet she shook all of us to the core.. Did you know that girl is a platinum rank hunter ?"

The receptionist ask.

" Whaaaat, platinum ranked? "

Rickey seem suprised.

" That girl is powerful, she's unlike anything we've ever seen "

" Do you know where she is? "

Mary ask and the receptionist explains

" Well she was here 3 months ago but she left on a ship to Russia "

" To Russia? "

" If you want to know more about her, you can ask the antique shop that's across the street, rumors said that she's his granddaughter or something "

The receptionist suggested.

" Thanks "

Mary left the guild and crossed the street over to the antique shop.

" I can't believe your friend Is a platinum ranked hunter, not many people can reach that rank you know "

Rickey states.

Mary opens the door to the shop and walks in. The door bell rings and the old man Oscar walked out to greet his customers.

" Hello, how can I help you.. Hmph? "

Oscar looks at mary closely.

" Excuse me, are you the owner here? "

Mary ask.

" Yes, I am "

" I'm looking for something, her name is Roselina Lambrosa De Valentine.. I believe you already know this name "

" Ah yes.. The young lady with the white hair, yes I remember her well ,She came here about 3 months ago selling some items that she had "

" Do you know where she is? "

" Well I don't really know, but I she went on an envoy ship from Russia.....And who are you? "

Mr Oscar ask and Mary respond by introducing herself

" I'm her Friend, My name is Mary Parkers, I'm looking for her "

" Her friend hmph, Did you know your friend is a Vampire? "

Mr Oscar ask.

" A Vampire ?"

" You must be joking "

" Yes "

Rickey and his friends looked at Mary who was calm.

" I know Roselina is a Vampire "

Mary confessed

" Your friend is a Vampire ? "

Elaine ask in disbelief.

" Your having us traveling across the world looking for a blood sucking monster "

Rickey ask.

" You guys, roselina isn't like that, She's different "

" Oh yeah, what's so different about her, she's a blood sucking vampire, I'm sorry but I can't go through with this, you're on your own "

Rickey and his two friends walk towards the door when Mary ran infront of them and blocked the door with her body.

" You guys please just listen.. She's not like that, She's my friend, She would never hurt an innocent person. I'm the reason she left "

Mary said

" What do you mean girl? "

Mr Oscar ask.

" Roselina and I met in the forest, She saved me from a group of bandits, after saving me roselina stated by my side. Day after day I watched her grow weaker, suffer from immense pain because she wasn't drinking blood.. I offered her mine countless times but she stilled refuse.

After that we were attack and in order to save herself I offered my blood, after that she... She left and it's all my fault, if I hadn't forces her she would have never left in the first place "

Mary said.

" Well, that does changed the fact that she's a Vampire, a blood sucking monster "

Rickey said.

" Well, she maybe a Vampire but she's one of a kind "

Said Mr Oscar as he walked up to Mary.

" She was more generous than anyone I've ever met, She gave me something that is more valuable than anyone has, She gave me a 2nd chance "

" A second chance, what do you mean? "

" Hahahahah.. I was nearsighted but now I'm cured "

" What ?"

Mary, Rickey and the others was suprised.

"I see a special bond between both of you, it's like the red strings of fate binds you togther, you should continue looking for your friend and don't give up "

" Thank you Mr Oscar "

Mary smiled once again after Mr Oscar told her not to give up. This made Rickey and the other think about their decision carefully.

" Ah listen Mary, I'm sorry for what I said calling before, calling your friend a monster was rude of me "

" It's okay Rickey, I should have told you the truth from the start "

" If she's worth it, then we'll definitely help you look for your friend "

Elaine said.

" Thanks Elaine "

" Hey Good sir, can I ask you a question, did you see her with a weapon or something? "

Jimmy ask.

" Now that you ask, I do see her carrying around a Crimson Scythe "

" You did? "

Mary ask with deep interest.

" Yes, she was often whispering to it, like it was talking to her or something, it's weird "

Mr Oscar replied remember the past.

" could that be the weapon the vampires are looking for ? "

Rickey ask.

" It could be, if it is Roselina is in danger "

Mary said.

" Hahahaha, you shouldn't worry about that young lady "

Mr Oscar said.

" Why not "

" Because, I've seen that look in her eyes, those eyes that have come face to face with death before. She as strength, I believe she will become a major asset for the world "

Mr Oscar said.

After leaving Mary and the others rented rooms at the in and the next day they boarded a ship that was heading for Russia as well.

" The captain said will reach land in three months "

Rickey said.

" We should wait until we arrive, then we look for Roselina "

Mary clenched her fist.

( Wait for me Roselina, I'm coming for you)

In the meantime

While roselina was sleeping soundly in her casket, Veelzebub that Remained against the wall. The woman called Vivian stepped out of the rain and into the dried cave.

She walks up to roselina coffin and looks at it.

>> Tell me, have you changed your mind ? Do you think this is the right thing to do? <<

Veelzebub ask.

" Yes.. I'm ready "

The woman replied.

>> Then let's wait for the masters decision.. Let's see what the future holds in store for her <<
