Chapter 169

I took a sip of tea as I sat at the window of a small cafe. Tio and Tia are with me right now while Debra is working as an intern for Diane. 

"It's a lovely day today isn't it girls?" I asked with a satisfied smile. 

""Yes Miss Roselina,"" They both spoke in unison..

As I sat and drink my tea people was staring at me profoundly. 

"YOU JERK!"

I opened my eyes as I heard someone shout, it was a girl pointing her finger at a boy who was with a girl and looking at them closely… isn't that Bradley?

"Ellie, will you calm down? It's not—Ow! Ow! Ow!" Bradley cried. 

The girl called Ellie started to pull on Bradley's left ear. It seems the guys are two timing her, no,  it's more like they both are in love with Bradley. 

"Why didn't you invite me instead of her?" Elle fumed.  

"Fufufu, it's because he finds me more attractive than you, seeing I'm not as inflated as you," The blue haired girl spoke, then to show off her superior breast. 

"Inflated! Bradley, do you like her boobs or mine?"

Ellie took his hand and placed it on her boobs in front of everyone, realising what she did, Ellie got embarrassed and slap Bradley in the face. 

"You perverted!"

Ellie ran out the door. 

"Ellie, wait!!"

"Let her go," The other girls said as she held Bradley's hand. 

"I can't!"

He ran off after Ellie leaving this girl behind. 10 minutes later he returned with a happy Ellie who was holding his arm.

The three of them sat together, I must say it's nauseating, why does he have a harem and I don't ?

I got up and walked past them.  "Hey Roselina," Bradley called.

I turned to him. 

"Wow, she's super cute."

"Wait, don't tell me she's another one," Elle asked in jealousy.

"No, she's just my schoolmate," Bradley responded, then got up and faced me.

"I didn't know you were here, why didn't you tell me?" He asked. 

"Fufufufu, why would I inform you of my presence when you provided such an entertaining display?"I queried as smiled at him. 

"Yeah sorry, this is Elle my childhood friend and this is Fay my Co worker."

"Childhood friend?!"

"Co-worker?!"

They stare at Bradley with murderous intent 

"Fufufu, these two are quite an amusing pair Fufufufu," I chuckled, then I bow to them.  "Greeting, My name is Roselina Lambrosa De Valentine."

"The way she looks, talks and carries herself it's like she's a real life princess," Elle muttered. 

"She's a member of the Valentine Family, you know Kelly who owns Valentine Enterprise, This is her younger sister," Bradley explained.

"Wow, does that mean you're super rich?" Elle asked as she was surprised. 

"Yes, I'm right, these two are my bodyguards, Tio and Tia," I responded. 

"How did you get to know someone this powerful?" Elle asked. 

"It's a long story, I just helped her out of a new situation, and now we're just friends," Bradley said. 

I took another bow. 

"Now if you please excuse me, I'll be taking my leave," I spoke.

"Wait, Roselina, won't you stay and talk with us?" Bradley queried.

"Fufufufu, Are you trying to add me to your harem, sorry but I'm unavailable, chow," I wave as I walk away. 

We returned to the car that drove off. 

Later that night In the underground, a flash of blood was painted on the wall. All the blood gathered into a sphere that floated over my head. Kelly and I were hunting Carnages that night.

"Let's continue," I said, 

"Are monsters really hiding underneath here?" Kelly wondered.  

"According to the information we obtain from Matilda there should be one down here,"

A carnage jumped at Kelly and its head was chopped off with her nail and gathered with the blood sphere. 

"They've been reports about a strange noise coming from under the city, but it has been passed off as some underground workers," Kelly explained. 

"Humans, If it's a Dragon they think it's a lizard with wings."

We continued to walk down some stairs, the aura was getting stronger and stronger. We peek around a corner where we saw workers pushing crates in and out of a room. 

They wore orange jumpsuits and gas masks . 

"Mistress, what are your orders?" Kelly inquiried. 

"We walk through the front door,"

I deploy invisibility magic and walk into the building as if nothing happened. This seemed to be some kind of research facility.  Suddenly my super hearing picked up something roaring. 

"Mistress, I heard something."

"Yes, I heard it was good."

Kelly and I followed the directions of the sound to an area that was off limits to unqualified personnel. 

"What do you think they're doing?" She wondered. 

"Let's find out."

We snuck in with a doctor to a room filled with doctors, inside they had a man chained up and was being tortured mercilessly. They injected a red liquid in the man's body and suddenly his veins started to bulge, his body started to become red and his eyes started to become bloodshot.

The alarm sound, the doctors run around and the man that's was injected with a drug slowly turned into a mindless beast. 

"Roo Aaaa Rrrr!"

He broke the latches on his hands and feet. Men in black suits with guns came in and started firing bullets. The test subject was shot down.

"Don't Kill it, it's valuable for our research."

A doctor tried to persuade the gunmen but was elbowed away by one of them. They walk up to the human lying on the floor with their guns pointed at it. Suddenly, the man opened his eyes and attacked the gunmen and started killing them. A few at the back started to fire at it but the bullets bounced off its skin. 

"It seems it learned from before and evolved hard skin to defend against its bullets," I said as I continued to video it all on my phone.

I'm doing this so that in the future if the public finds out about us, we can use it as leverage over humanity. I videoed it all, from the beginning of the injection to the mass slaughteration. 

"Are you going to help them, Mistress?" Kelly wondered. 

"Fufufu, why should I? They brought this upon themselves, "How will they learn if they don't feel a little pain first?"

I continue to video until one of the doctors was killed.

"I've got enough, let's finish this…"

I fired a small crimson fire in its chest and instantly it stopped moving and started to feel an intense pain as it was burned from the inside out. He started to swell up and exploded like a balloon. I stomped my foot on the ground and the floor started to crack all the way to the shielding,

"It's an earthquake!"

"Let's run!"

The doctors ran for their lives and the ceiling started to collapse. Only Kelly and I were standing in place when everything collapsed on our barrier. 

"Mistress, down there?"

Hmm? Kelly pointed out a light that was emanating from below and I used my scythe to open a flower below. We both jumped down into a deep pit. When we landed the place had electricity and automatically came on. 

"Dear lord!"

Kelly looked frightened and when I turned around, I was frightened as well. What was chained up before us was a carnage of the second stage but this carnage was ordinary for it was part carnage part machine. It looked like a man with a large underbite, red skinned, 30 ft tall and the left half of its body was fully mechanised. 

"I never thought these humans were even more depraved than I imagine," Kelly said. 

"Fufufufu, It's power is not bad, I would say it would be a match for you in your sealed state," I spoke.

Kelly was nervous when I told this to her. 

"What should we do, mistress?" Kelly asked. 

I took a picture of it and stored it in my pocket dimension . 

"Your main concern is to find Silvia, not to play with human today, we should return back but first," 

I set the entire black on fire.

"We should probably go now."

I open a special gate back to the car and watch from a distance the old plaza they were under was destroyed. We got in the car and drove off. I took the SD card out of my phone and threw it into the storage dimension and placed the new one inside my phone. 

"The government is more sick and depraved than I imagine," Kelly muttered.  

"I don't think the government has a say in the matter, remember our enemy the black cross is a part of the underworld which even the government or the queen can't touch, if we get rid of this black cross then the world will be safe once again,"  I explained, then sighed.  "Honestly, these humans are harder to deal with than Efreet or maybe even Lucifer, at least I don't have to run around and play a vigilante."

"Lucifer, what does Lucifer have to do with this?" Kelly asked. 

"Hmm, A slip of the tongue," I replied.

I can't let Kelly find out about it or she would never forgive me, or better yet, she wouldn't ever want to leave my side. She has enough problems to deal with and I don't want to add more to her plate. 

"We should return home as soon as possible, I'm hungry," I spoke.

The black cross had a meeting once again. 

"#12, it seems one of your research facilities was destroyed, is that correct?" #13 inquiried. 

" I hope nothing has been damaged "

"What about the Alpha?" #7 queried.

"All has been destroyed, even our greatest creation is missing."

Hearing that from 12 everyone went completely silent. 

"Do you think it's been stolen?" #11 shouted. 

"Yes."

"We'll find it back ,I don't care how you do it before I take matters into my own hands," #6 shouted. 

"Rest assured, I'll personally look for it."

"I think I'll join you," #11 shouted.

After that, Dr Judas hung up and turned to the two people standing behind him. The two people were wearing robes. 

"You have your missions, don't fail me."

""Right""

The two people left leaving Dr Judas alone, he turned to the monitor scream where he was looking at Kelly's profile. 

"What new surprises will you show me?" He queried and smiled ominously.
