Final Day of Preparations
I woke up to a cold, grey day.
The sky was filled with dark grey clouds. It was practically impossible to spot the sun through the thick fog of clouds which covered the sky. As a result, the entire area was darker than usual, I couldn't really tell what time it was but I assumed it was some time around noon. My Minions were out on their various expeditions already.
Today was the final day before the true beginning of Killer Winter.
Full of resolve, I pulled out my {Fine Logger's Axe} and made my way over to a tree.

I was gathering wood at quite a rapid rate. I needed 200 wood per {Advanced Farm Bed} which took around two minutes each to gather. I continued to swing away at the tree, slowly chipping away at its trunk and collecting more and more wood.
