Lessons Resume

The day after the visitor drama, I was permitted to go to breakfast with everyone else. I was going to be continuing my lessons in full force after the meal was over. I was nervous about that, but there was nothing that I could do about it for now.

"Good morning, Uncle Dominic. Good morning, Aunt Caitlin." I called out to both of them as I walked into the room.

"Good morning, Addie." Aunt Caitlin smiled at me.

"It is good to see that you are doing better, Addie dear. I am so sorry that our lesson did not go as planned." Uncle Dominic looked worried as I sat down at the table on his left side. Aunt Caitlin was across from me, at his right side.

"It is quite alright, Uncle Dominic. I know that you did not intend for anything bad to happen to me." I gave him a soft smile.
