**ADDIE'S POV**
I knew that Nolan and Callum had had a secret meeting. That was easy to tell when he came to join me for the late lunch and looked like he hadn't slept at all. It was actually quite easy to pull the information out of him because of that.
It might have been because he was tired, or it might have been because he didn't want to hide things from me. I mean, he was my fiancé, and hiding things was not polite. Especially when I had already guessed what it was all about.
They had met to talk about what had happened while I was at the Academy, specifically the assassination attempt. I knew that they were looking into who it was that had orchestrated it all. I knew that they were on the case, and that was why I wasn't letting it get to me as much.
