Chapter 13

I arrived at heahyun I was dressed in the white grown Mrs Kim chose as I stepped into the building I noticed everyone's lips smiling and gasping at me, I am used to this kind of treatment since this was the reaction I got at school because of my old face though it's been a while since people has actually looked at me this way and it felt good after a very long time

I had to come here today because Mr Kim asked me too apparently he has something Important to discuss with me and my sister I wonder what it is about..anyways the most important thing is I get to see my sister have missed her so much

I walked into the elevator feeling a little more confident I put on a smile and took few elevator selfies to post i was checking the pictures when a mysterious man suddenly walked in, he was wearing a black trouser and black jacket with nose mask and face cap it felt strange but I kept my calm, he pushed the rooftop button on the elevator

My floor was on the 57th and the elevator opened I was about to Walk out when I suddenly felt a palm cover my mouth and nose,he the pushed a button on the elevator making the elevator door close, I tried all my best to escape from him but he suddenly grabbed my hair and hit it hard on the elevator I felt dizzy instantly I was finding it hard to get up

He pulled my legs and turned me he sat untop of me and grabbed my neck tightly he was strangling me so hard I felt myself almost running out of breath as I kept using my strength to try and pull his hand away but I failed..after awhile of almost strangling me to death he punched my face really hard three times at this point my nose was bleeding

"Die!!..die!!..die!!..Kim soo hyun die!!!..you have to die!!' he kept yammering as he punched me non-stop. The elevator door suddenly opened he grabbed my hair and dragged me out, we were at the rooftop I think he was planning to push me off the roof I tried using all my strength to escape from him but it was of no use he was stronger

He placed me at the edge of the building and tried to push me off, there was no way I was going to let him kill me like this

"Someone save me!!" I screamed at the top of my voice

"Keep quiet and just die already" he said and raised his hand to punch me again but a heavy blow suddenly landed on his face, he let go off my neck and fell I used this opportunity to catch my breath as I fell to the ground

"Are you alright?" Soo woo asked, the person who punched him was Soo woo

The strange man stood up to punch him back but he was able to durge it and kick the man, he moved closer to the man and kept punching him nonstop making sure the man was weak and unable to stand up he then called the police.

Soo woo noticed Soo hyun was unconscious he tried calling her name to see if she could hear him but it was of no use.

Hun bin was rushed to the hospital

after a while she regained consciousness

"Are you alright?..Soo hyun?" Soo woo asked as she slowly opened her eyes

"Soo woo" she called him

Anytime soon hyun called him it always reminded him of how Hun bin used to call his name and this made him uncomfortable cause he has never heard anyone call him like that for a very long time

"How are you feeling?" He asked again

"Am fine.." she replied as she sat up right "how did you get there at the right time to save me?" She asked

"I was at the rooftop when I suddenly heard a scream... do you know who that man was?"

"I have no idea" she replied as she slowly remembered what happened

"Stay right here... I'll go get you water"

Just as he stood up Mr and Mrs Kim walked in, Mrs Kim rushed to the side of her bed to see if she was okay, Soo woo bowed and walked out

"Are you alright can you see me?" Mrs Kim asked obviously looking extremely worried

"It's fine...my injuries will heal in few weeks" Hun bin replied with a smile

"You should have been more careful what if something bad had actually happened ugh?!!" Mr Kim scolded

"Sorry I almost got myself killed I'll be more careful" she was sarcastic

"You should go back home.. before the press and media makes a big deal out of this..the police already caught the criminal anyways we shouldn't drag this any longer"

"I almost died playing as your daughter Kim soo hyun but all you care about is your reputation!"

"Am I supposed to care about you"

"If you want me to act like a good daughter don't you think you should also act like a good dad!!...was this how you treated Soo hyun when she was alive?!"

" Just do as you're told to do and stop asking stupid question?!"

"That's enough both of you!! What if someone hears you...honey I think you're being a little to harsh on her she's still our child"

"Not until she sighs the adoption papers"

"Am never signing the adoption papers!!"

"How dare you!!...are you going back on our dea!!"

"The deal I made almost cost me my life and you don't even give a fuck about that!!..am pretty sure if i die you'll find someone else to replace me ugh!!"

"We'll talk about this when we get home... I'll go see the doctor to see of you can already leave the hospital" he said and walked out of the room

"Don't pay attention to him..he acts cold but am sure he is worried about you"

"Thank you"

"Am just glad you're ok..I thought I was going to lose you too" she cried and kissed my forehead

Why is she so nice to me am not even her real daughter why does she cry because am hurt and who was that man that tried to kill me?.

Mr Kim walked out of the hospital and saw Soo woo standing there holding a glass of water on a tray

"Thank you for saving my daughter"

"No sir..am just glad I was there at the right time"

"Yes....excuse me" he walked away, Mr Kim was a little worried Soo woo might have heard the conversation he had with Hun bin just now.
