Chapter 2: My birthday

I wake up the next morning to a loud bang I fall out of bed and see Cara, Syilve, my brothers and my parents I said

"Fuck off you guys!"

Everyone laughs but my parents just look disappointed.I grab my phone and look at the time

"SHOOT we're late again luckily it's a non uniform day!"

They got out of my room as I took out my cutest clothes. I grab my denim shorts and a long sleeve top I then put a hoodie on my waist with high tops for my shoes I tie my hair up as a high ponytail and walk out the door my parents then mind link me.

"you have to come straight home alright?"

8 classes later and I have to return home. My second cousin then throws grape juice at me when I went to the parking lot

"stupid girl"

my wolf says in my ear

"I can kill her if you want"

I shrug and shake my head at her as she sadly pouts. I start walking to the nearest clothing store like hell I am returning to my parents on my birthday with sticky clothes. I quickly grab the nearest top which is the only thing I need and check out. I throw on the cute shirt and walk to my house. I look around at the beautiful flowers falling around me as it feels more and more like a fairy tale, something out of a book. 2 minutes later I stand just outside the book and then I smell the most amazing thing I have ever smelt I walk into the house and everyone who I know except my cousins aunts and uncles are there I know they're coming later but I follow the smell to the back of the house in the library I see Oli and suddenly I feel broken. we both whisper

"Mate"

I ran up to my room as fast as I could and my friends try catch up to me I lock the door and I didn't even notice that I had started crying I hear my brothers knocking I tell them the same thing

"I'm fine just leave me alone!"

My friends walk up and knock. I tell them the same thing then Maddy comes to the door. I walk to the door slowly and I see that she's alone. I grab her sleeve and snatch her in. I didn't notice because my sent is messed up from me crying but a of her friends is attached to the arm

"Sweetie, are you alright? Do you need me to beat him up I don't care if he's the Alpha he could be the king of the world for all I care if he hurts my friend he must have a death wish,"

I just start to tear up as I hear my brother talking to Oli. Oli said

"I don't think I can reject her she's kind, caring and over all just a great person and would be a great Luna"

I see my friends now sneaking out through the window and motion to the rope I just shake my head as they drop 2 floors but they were crawling on the roof for like 2 minutes

"Knock knock knock"

I knew it was Oli. I knew that he was so heart broken and it felt like he would break down the door right then and there. I open the door and I feel a calming warm embrace I knew it was Oli his raven black hair tickled my face as we hugged I looked to the door and said

"We should go downstairs yay! Emma told me this morning that she found her mate and her name is Sophia"

We head downstairs as he has his hand on my lower back we go back into the living room and I announced

"For those of you who showed up late our alpha is my mate heh take that everybody!"

Everyone started laughing as the party went on I greeted everyone with a warm smile as I chatted with my future sister in law I see Cara staring off blankly I ask her

"Cara sweetheart are you alright?"

She just muttered mate under her breath and walked towards the door Liam my twin shouted

"Mate!"

As she and Liam kissed I finally realized that both my friends were gonna be my future sisters in law. Great! Just great they're gonna think I'm so pathetic once they see that I am usually a bit mean. I stare down at my lap as I feel eyes on me from every angle. My mate nudged me as I turn to look at Oliver he whispers

"Well aren't you going to answer the question?"

I slowly look around as I see my second cousins stare with pity as April yells at me

"Answer the question Luna! Are you going to have pups? Oli won't touch you is that right? Hm as I thought this is just a pathetic excuse because Oliver can't find his mate and you're too embarrassed to admit that you're just a fake!"

I felt the room tense as Maddy slammed the door open and dragged her out by the ear. 43 minutes later and Maddy comes in smirking with a devilish smile she says

"Hey girl mind if I borrow your hoodie~~~~"

I throw it at her blood soaked clothes without a question she just giggles and puts it on. No one talks to any of the kids, well young adults like me, my siblings,friends, Maddy and her siblings. We looked at each other as Maddy pulled out a cluedo game from who knows where and for the next 75 minutes we played for 3 turns in a row I was the murderer. Finally, mostly everyone went home. Cara left with Liam, Aiden and Sylvie had gone to bed and me and Oli were left alone. We just stare at each other as I feel blush creeping up on my skin. Oli just patted his lap and I claimed the spot and settled in resting the back of my head on his collar bone. We watched the television for about 45 to 55 minutes. He scooped me up in his arms and chuckled as I giggled. He slowly and quietly moved us up the stairs gently placing kisses on my neck. We smiled as we finally got to the door as he opened the door he gently threw me on the bed as he closed and locked the door. I patted the side on the bed next to me, as he took off his shirt.

As I woke up the next morning I found Oli lying next to me he said

"Good morning sleepy head"

As he placed kisses on the back of my neck I chuckled as he caught me off guard by asking

"Can I claim you babe?"

I gulped silently and nodded. What was I getting myself into?

The next thing I knew I felt a weird tingle in my neck as I felt teeth sink into my neck. I didn't mind though and saw my hoodie next to my bed. I put it on and Oli was already dressed and ready. He left the room slowly, closing the door behind him and I grabbed my clothes and got dressed. It was the weekend and Emma's birthday was today and she had already moved in with her best friend and mate Sophia, we got down to the kitchen and Cara was in Liam's lap and Sylive was leaning against Aiden. Everyone grinned at me and I sighed and went to make myself some breakfast only realizing that my parents were on a pack trip for 7 months, Oli looked down at me with puppy dog eyes as he rubbed my back and smiled. My brothers said in a harsh tone

"If you hurt her so help me I will kill you with my own hands and then tie you up to a tree,"

I glared at them, my wolf didn't like her mate being threatened and went over to the door. Olli was following me like a lost puppy. We looked to the door and saw Melody. Melody was different from other wolves; she didn't want a mate and she was more my brother's friend rather than mine but I still loved her. She smiled at me and my brothers as she walked into the door. Milly, her best friend followed after her with buns in her hand. Jack followed in after them and a older boy just stayed at the door Melody invited him in by saying

"What are you waiting for,"

he waited for me to welcome him in and I just nodded in reply. He was a rather tall boy with golden brown eyes like caramel honeycomb and messy black hair that swayed to the side of face. He was the only one that I didn't know with them sadly they weren't in my pack and they had to do training. We all talked for hours on end but sadly they had to leave. They stood up and left. I chuckled as my mate laughed, probably knowing what I was thinking man Mel is so cute! I stared at him with a frown as he said

"Mel is my cousin babe,"

I chuckled as Emma ran through the door almost knocking me over with the force of her hug. I glared at her with steel eyes, a warning in my glare don't touch me she knew I wasn't a big fan of tight hugs. I stared at her as my brothers 1 by 1 started giving her gifts. My little sister tugs on my top

"I didn't get something, can we share?"

I gave her a beautiful nicely wrapped gift and she handed it to Emma. Emma stared at me as I called my friend in. Inside the cage was a puppy she squealed with delight and smiled. She named the puppy Magic. I thought it was weird but I kinda didn't mind. Magic stared at me with her big green and blue eyes. Her white coat was very silky and she was very tired. She curled up with Emma as the night went on I wanted to leave the house stay somewhere different so Oli said

"Hey wanna stay at my place tonight?"

"Mhm yeah that would be nice,"

I was kinda nervous for some reason, he had been my friend for years and I had stayed at his house multiple times but something told me that this was different. Maybe it was the way that his eyes told me that I would never want to leave. I raced up to my room as I packed my bag. I looked at my shorts. I stuffed them into a bag and raced outside. He was sitting in his car with the windows rolled down. I went into his car as the warm air hit my face in one powerful punch. He rolled up the windows and stared blankly at me. I stared out the window as his eyes continued to burn holes in the back of my head as I blushed. He looked at the road and sighed. I could feel the disappointment but I didn't know why, my wolf howled as she was feeling very ignored. We pulled up to his house that he lived in all alone. It was the packhouse for him and I. He had moved since the last time I saw him. He gave me the grand tour following him around until he stopped right outside his bedroom door. Looking at the door he blushed and said

"I guess this is it my well now our if you want to live with me bedroom,"

I stared at the door as he opened it. The blood rushed to my face and everything was spotless. I smiled at him and he was super embarrassed. Shaking my head I lossend my straps as he blushed even harder I smiled and said

"what? I'm just loosening my straps. What's the problem?"

I stared at him as he kissed my cheek and went to the closest, I went to the bathroom and turned on the shower the warm water ran down my body smiling. It helped me clear my head. I turned the water off and wrapped the towel around my small figure. I was really small but still was very dangerous if you got on my bad side. My wolf purred as I saw my mate coming into the room after his shower. Slowly I opened the door as he stared at me with a smirk, his towel was dangerously low on his waist, my wolf purred and wanted to go to him but instead he just walked over to me. Feeling very confused I jumped at the sudden movement but he just walked past me. Disappointment crept up on my face and I went to the closest place where he was. Turning away from him, I got changed. I wore shorts and a sports bra and walked back in sighing. I crawled into bed and was immediately grabbed by my waist. I froze but calmed when I noticed the tingles I was getting. Oli kissed the back of my neck as we settled in for the night.

When I woke up the next morning I found myself alone but he was downstairs in his office. I crept down the stairs as I mask my scent. Then I hear something that makes me and my wolf feel as if our hearts are being ripped out and shattered.

"Come on Olli, baby are you in a bad mood? Do you want April to cheer you up?"

April spoke and I wanted to kill her! How dare she! She knows that I'm her lunar. How dare she disrespect me! I walked away and ran outside to the nearest club. Changing into my club outfit I spent the rest of the day drinking and clubbing. I felt Oli enter the room because the room tensended and moved around us. He ushered them to get back to what they were doing. Oli grabbed me by my waist and hoisted me over his shoulder. I tried to get down but his grip was too firm. I slumped down and sighed. He buckled me in to the car despite my protests and had the nerve to yell at me

"Luna! How dare you leave without an explanation? You gave me a heart attack!"

"If you want to be with me so badly, why was April all over you this morning! Don't act like it didn't happen. Why weren't you yelling at her? Last night you said you love me! You were fucking lying Oliver Stone you fucking liar! You said you love me! April may be prettier than me and more popular and may be smarter than me but we were made for each other we're mates, not you and April! The only reason she likes you is because of the power you have over everyone and if you take her as your mate she will kill me or hurt me!"

"Luna it wasn't like that! I do love you! You know that when you said you loved me too we made a promise when we were kids we would always love each other no matter what! Who was there when I needed you and when you needed me I was always there! You were supposed to be Mrs Stone! Did you lie to me!"

"Oliver, I-"

He cut me off

"Don't I'm the one that should apologize. Luna I'm sorry you're right I should've yelled at her even but there was another human there and I can't smack girls."

"I'm sorry too I acted irrationally and left out of anger. It's my fault I didn't give you a chance. I guess I really do love you Mr Stone"

"I love you too Ms Echo"

He kissed my lips as we pulled into the driveway. Smiling at me he picks me up bridal style and kisses my body all over as he walks up the stairs and into his bedroom.

I wake up the next morning and smile as I see his warm body lying next to me with his legs intertwined with mine and his arm draped over my waist. He groans and kissed the back of my neck saying

"Baby I'm too tired to move. Can we please just stay like this for the rest of today? We don't need to get out of bed please baby?"

I rolled over to face him and he looked at me with pleading eyes making me feel guilty with the fight and the late night I just kissed his lips softly and went back to sleep.
