Chapter 19: Unwanted Message
Luci’s POV:
After I finished the call with Gavin, I spent most of the day catching up on the reading for Genre Studies and our short story class.
The first week’s assignments were basically an overview that went into theory about the respective concepts.
I did my best to focus on the topics, as I knew we would be breaking them down more with each week of class. The reading itself was easy enough, but my mind kept drifting away to Gavin and what the next day would bring.
How could it not?
There was something about this human. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I was starting to wonder if Carlos was right about Gavin being my mate.
There was this unseen force that felt like something was pushing me toward Gavin.
Our meeting was so random though.
What were the odds of us coming across each other like this?
