Chapter 36: True Alpha's Command

Spiritual threads of moonlight guided me far away, to a place the Moon Goddess deigned for me to see.

There, secreted away, in a pocketed clearing where the forest met mountain, was a village covered in the dense shroud of the wolf king.

It wasn’t a physical shroud, but it was a weighted presence which was felt with every step. Every breath was laden with his thick presence. Any thought conceived came about with either his aid, or his watchful eye. I knew the village I saw was full of shifters.

The Moon Goddess let me know that each of them were under the True Alpha’s command.

The swirling light of my vision changed, and I started to see the faces of the shifters who lived there. Most of them were plain, like any brother or sister shifter would be. You would never have known something was off.
