Ready for the party

"Here," Sly dropped a shopping bag on the bed.

"What's it?" I peer at the bag as if it's a time bomb that might go off when I touch it.

"Check it out for yourself, and stop acting as if the bag will bite should you touch you."

"You can't tell if it will." I took the bag, and opened it, "a suit? What for?" I frown at him.

"Tomorrow is the end of the year party."

"And?" I squint.

"Aren't you coming with me?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Oh," My eyes widened in realization. "It's a formal meeting."

And that means I've got to wear a suit.

"Yes." Sly sat on the bed, "do you like it?"

"What if I say I don't?"

"I will take it back, and have them custom a new one for you. I won't force you to wear something you don't want to wear." He touched my hair, "do you like the suit?"

"Is it the same as yours?" I asked, instead of answering his questions.

"Yes. It's the same. Now, do you like it?"
