MY MASKED HUSBAND: I fell in love with the most wanted man

Hazel Green silently stood at her bed room window thinking about the events that had happened the last two days. This was an unfamiliar place for her but it could be considered her new dwelling place for the next ten months. She suddenly recalled the rules of the house. Rule number one Party B is not allowed to fall in love with the Young Master, rule number two Party B is forbidden to see the Young Master's face, rule number three Party B's contract will become invalid after giving birth an heir and is not allowed to come close to the baby, if Party B breaks any of the rules the contract will be come void and null hence terminated immediately," "Is that okay?" "Yeah, but I have one more question," "Before you ask that, the Master wears a mask unless he isn't wearing one you will be required to have your blindfold on," Zen replied. Yes, she had gotten married. For others, marriage was a result of love between each other but for her it was due to mutual benefit. And in a blink of time, Hazel had gotten married to someone she wasn't even allowed to see his face. Hazel begins to wonder if she made the right choice. As she struggles to try and not fall in love curiosity seems to be her biggest challenge as she wants to know the secret behind the mask. ........... PS the cover isn't mine it's from Pinterest. Chapter 10 The surprise gift

"I won't talk to you anymore, I'm leaving," Hazel said.

"Wait, put this on at least you are a girl you need to take care of yourself here I bought you make-up, doll yourself up and this here is your wedding gift make sure you use it well," Bri said giving her a lot of bags.

"Gift? Can I open it?" Hazel said curiously. Hazel and her brother were the only people who had ever given her a gift but still, she wasn't used to this kind of treatment yet.

"No, not here open it at home," Bri yelled.

"Okay, okay you don't have to yell," Hazel pouted as she placed everything together.

"Our little Hazel finally knows how to pout, you look so cute," Bri teased her.

"I'm leaving,"

"Wait, one more thing this is for your husband," Bri said taking out a small box.

"My husband? What is it?"

"Just give it to him, you want to win his heart right?"

"Why should I? It's against the contract and is it necessary what if he doesn't accept it," Hazel replied staring at the box.

"Aaah! Just give it to him at least and about the contract thing. Haven't you read novels or watched movies? That's what they always say and in the end, the protagonists end up falling in love with each other. You won't understand just go with it," Bri said as she winked at Hazel.

"What are you saying?"

"Should I give you a ride?" Bri interrupted her totally ignoring her questions.

"No, why don't you sort your issues first," Hazel said as she stood up ready to walk away.

"Call me," Bri said.

"I will," Hazel replied as she took out her phone to call a cab.

Saying that she wasn't nervous was an understatement. She felt so uneasy about the rules she had received she had figured out the Master's personality and she knew one thing for sure, he wasn't an easygoing person.

"Aaah, maybe he is not so bad, yes he can't be right?" She mumbled softly.

"Miss? Miss we are on the road why don't you get in first ah! youngsters these days are too weak," the taxi driver sighed.

"Oooh, sorry," Hazel replied as she got into the car.

"From your face and actions you seem to have a relationship problem," the driver said as he got ready to drive.

"Oooh, that's not it actually," Hazel tried to argue.

"Don't worry I'm an old man I have a daughter around your age so I totally understand how you feel there is nothing to be ashamed of. But be careful when you are on the road," he went on and on.

"But that's not it it's..." Hazel tried to speak up but she was cut short again.

"Don't worry, I won't mention it again just forgive each other and talk it out communication is the key to everything," he said.

"Yes, I understand," Hazel said giving in. She stared at the window not willing to refute the driver's words as she silently listened to his words and from time to time she would utter an okay in between.

After an hour, they finally arrived outside the gate. Hazel felt a bit tired. She didn't know if it was the shopping that wore her out or just sitting and listening to the driver for a full hour, especially in the large traffic jam.

"Is this where you live?" The driver said as he stared at the large mansion that was visible from outside.

"Mmmh," Hazel mumbled. She was too tired to even utter a word.

"You must be lucky, it seems he loves you," he said.

"Yes, he does," Hazel replied but in her thought, she couldn't help but think everything that the driver said was quite laughable. She hadn't even met her so-called husband yet and even if he did she wasn't allowed to see his face.

"Treasure your man fighting," the driver said before driving away in high spirits.

Hazel watched as he drove away for a while. She stood rooted in front of the gate, she didn't dare walk into it. She checked her watch and it was already 6 pm one hour to dinner. After sighing for the umpteenth time, she finally dragged herself into the gate. This was her life anyway.

"You can do it, Hazel Rav Green," she mumbled to herself. Calling her full name was one way for her to gather courage.

"Hazel you are back go change first we still have time," Zen said excitedly spotting Hazel from the gate.

"At least one person seems happy and excited about it," Hazel said.

"What did you say?" Zen asked.

"It's nothing, I'll go take a shower then," Hazel replied.

"Mmmh, go on let the maids help you with it," Zen replied.

As she looked at the large bags she instantly remembered about the gift.

"Oooh, wait," she said as she took out a box from it and then gave it to Zen.

"What is it?"

"I bought something for the Master can you give it to him?" She said.

"Sure, that is so thoughtful I'll bring it to him immediately,"

"Okay," after giving out the box, Hazel went back to her room. She recalled that Bri had given her a present and a dress for tonight. So she placed everything on her bed and then began rummaging through them one by one.

"Is Bri okay? Why did she have to buy so much makeup when I don't even know how to use them," she said as she placed them away. She finally spotted a small box.

"Got it, let me see what Bri got for me," she picked up the box and then opened it. She was shocked to see what was in. It was an extra large jockstrap and there was a note inside which read," I didn't know his size but I guess it's an extra large have fun," cute emoticons followed at the end.

"Wait, if this was the Master's present so what was my present?" Hazel was dumbfounded.
