_Visiting Her 'Family'

Due twirled her hair nervously before she spoke. "Wait, so Lisa told you about my family life?" Her tone made it clear that she didn't find the situation amusing one bit.

Why would Lisa do something like that without her consent? Was it because her family perhaps pressured her to know the real reason why she got injured and she had to come clean?

Due hoped that was the reason as she stared at Ravi, anticipating his response.

"Well, she didn't exactly tell me anything." He chuckled wryly. "It's more like I overheard one of the conversations you had with her on the phone, but that was before we even started dating."

Oh.

Now Due could see the problem. Lisa wasn't a snitch... It was Ravi who was a snooper!

However, as if he could read her mind, he raised his hands defensively. "I'm not a snooper or anything, I just happened to overhear your conversation at the time. Please, don't be mad. Are you mad? I feel like you're mad."
