The only reason Lorien could come up with as an excuse for Due choosing to be her stepmother's slave was only if she was the mysterious fairy manipulating her.
The tasks at hand had taken Lorien's mind off the investigation of Due's supernatural oppressor. He had so badly wanted it to be her boyfriend, but with this new information, it seemed things wouldn't turn out that way.
Dammit.
After the whole Noah episode, he would make sure to talk to Due about this. For now, he wouldn't want to overwhelm her.
He turned to Ms. Turner, hands intertwined under his chin. "And why should I believe this?"
"I swear, I saw it, sir." Ms. Turner hastily put forward and Lorien grunted, relaxing in his chair.
"Let's say you do, so bring it here. I'd like to see it too." He requested.
Ms. Turner fumbled with her own hands. "Erh… I, uh—I would have loved to show you, but it's back home."
