His meeting with Sally Turner didn't turn out exactly as he had expected. She hadn't wasted time to come into his office.

"Good morning, Mr. Montclair." She greeted, taking her stand in front of his desk since it was obvious that he'd never offered her a seat.

Lorien nodded grudgingly and held out his hand. "The so-called suicide note—where is it?"

"Here you go, sir." Sally reached into her jacket and brought out a piece of well-folded paper.

What? Sally kept Due's suicide note in such good shape?

He'd be damned if that took him off-guard. The woman seemed like she might be nuts. So, safeguarding a suicide note shouldn't be much of a big deal.

He retrieved the paper from her and had never felt anger the way he did. His eyes scanned the note, his expression darkening as he read each word.
