“Why? What’s wrong?”

And Martin immediately hugs him into an embrace when Giorgio starts tearing up, “hey hey, it’s okay. I won’t force you if you don’t want to.”

“I really want to. But-”

“You don’t have to tell if you don’t want to.”

“I just don’t want you to see how imperfect I really am.”

Martin looks down at Giorgio’s bare back and he frowns when he sees some old scars, a huge contrast from the blonde’s pale skin, making it obvious. He knows that Giorgio used to go through an abusive household in his childhood, and that was why he resorted to stealing and pickpocket to pay for boarding school. When his fingers start trailing the scars one by one, Giorgio’s breathing becomes labored and Martin whispers directly to his ear, “you are perfect, even with these scars. You know why? Because it’s you.”
