We got to the hotel and he held my hand gently. I looked at him smiling and he smiled back.

I asked a question,"So when are we leaving?"

"Pardon me?"

"When are we going to New York?"

"Oh, next Saturday, I'm surprised you're in such a hurry to leave."

Is it that obvious?

"I'm not, it's just I have a ' let's get this over with' kind of feeling."

He shrugged his shoulders and pushed the elevator button.

We were at the room in a few seconds and he asked,"Are you hungry?"

"Nah, not actually. The cotton candy was enough."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded and regretted that decision a few hours later. It was about midnight and my tummy was rumbling furiously, seeking revenge for me saying no to proper food.

I rolled on the bed, uncomfortably and sat up when I could no longer endure.

I snuck into the living room, as quietly as I could and took the telephone to order room service. I barely touched the button when someone said,"What are you doing?"

I screamed for help, there was a burglar in our room! I ran to Mark's room but he wasn't there, I knew he had been kidnapped and was probably being held for ransom.

The burglar kept following me and mentioning my name and I screamed louder...

He knows my name!

I wanted to run to the hall and alert everyone but the criminal caught me and didn't let go no matter how much I struggled.

He switched on the light and I calmed down...

"Mark?"

"...you are really hyper aren't you?"

"..."

"Let me get you something proper to eat."

I nodded several times with my hands in a prayer position. I realized just then that I didn't even know the number for room service...or whether they will operate this late.

"Will room service work this late?"I asked as he made his way to the fridge.

I sprinted to him the moment he brought out the tuna fish sandwich and gobbled it up in seconds.

He widened his eyes and slowly walked away.

I was scared to be alone in the room so I quickly followed.

The next day was Saturday and I was bored. I lay upside down on the luxurious couch with my short legs on its back, while watching the TV as it slowly drained away my soul.

When I had had enough of that, I walked to Mark. He was in the study, working on his high tech laptop when I entered.

His laptop had a clear monitor which displayed information from the front but from the back seems translucent with a white bunny drawn on it.

He looked up the moment I came in and said,"Oh Tommy, how can I help you?"

I sat on the gum free rotating leather chair in front of the desk, rolled around a few times and said,"I'm bored."

"So what do you want to do?"

Wow, he is so much different from mom and dad...

"Irono, anything."

"Would going to the mall cheer you up?"

I nodded and he stood up and took his white tuxedo shirt from the clothes hanger and his car keys and I followed him out the room.

I looked around the huge mall and he asked the store I wanted to visit first...

I couldn't believe how cool my little brother was. He literally bought everything I asked for without complaining once. I was carrying four bags full of clothes and cool toys I planned on disassembling and reassembling.

I had literally tried every store till the mall had nothing else but my favourite...

"Laser tag!"

He shrugged his shoulders and we put the luggage in the car then went into the neon coloured room.
