The riots continued into the next day . No one knew if or when to stop, though. The city was on lockdown; no one could leave for any reason at all. There were even rumors of a bomb in the downtown district, but that couldn't be right. They weren't that stupid.

"Just wait for it all to end..." Lance muttered.

He looked out his window towards the streets below and sighed. It seemed impossible now, to just keep waiting, and hope that everything would go back to normal once the riot was over. Even James didn't seem like he believed it anymore.

"Does your father know?" James asked.

"My father, Halo and some others...there will be nothing left..."

He watched a raping outside down below. and felt sick. What kind of monster would do something like this? Who could do something like this?! Lance shook his head.

"It's not him. It can't be. We're so close, too."

James glanced over at him and shrugged.Lance sighed again as he looked at his watch.
