Hana sighed. She managed to lower her sanity rate from 100 to 0.

In the game, there is an option called {Sanity} where if the character's sanity reached 0, they be able to kill a person with no remorse.

"Damn. Even after putting it back to 100, I still feel no guilt."

It's as if, the body is so used to committing murder.

Hana sighed. She stood up and walk to the basement. It's a dark room with a lot of chairs and torture weapons. It also smells blood, as if there were a lot of people tortured there.

"Should I... Kidnap someone?"

Hana shook her head. "No. Nope. No way." in the end, she left and got to work.

Hana is in the middle of serving the customers when she heard the door opened. A teen holding a pack of cigarettes entered. He have a dark shade of maroon hair that suits his tons of ear piercing.

The maroon sat on the available seat and Hana quickly went to him. She bowed and smiled. "Good Morning! Welcome to Neko Cafe! What's your order, sir?"

"Cheese cake." he simply said.

"What about drinks, sir?"

"Just water."

Hana smiled. "Just a minute, sir."

Right after her 30 minutes of work, Hana finally changed to her uniform. She was humming a familiar tone while walking to school walking passed by a certain blue short haired girl who smirked at her presence.

Hana arrived in front of the building and spotted someone familiar. "Ms. Notari Sota! Hi! Good morning!"

Sota looked at her and awkwardly smiled. After what happened last night, Sota is very clear about the fact that Anade is annoyed by the certain cheery personality of the brunette. She couldn't blame Anade, although she, herself, find Hana Misaki a cute and cheerful girl.

"G-Good morning, Ms. Hana."

Hana Misaki just smiled and handed her a yellow bento. "Thank you so much for walking me home last night! I made this with all of my effort! Although I know I am not the best cook, please accept my gratitude!"

Sota felt her heart flatter. She never received gift unless it's something related to an occasion when people are obliged to give something. But this time, the girl gave her gift just because she walk her home?

Now, Sota felt guilty. She remember agreeing to all bad things Anade mumble about Hana Misaki last night. She felt terrible. So Sota made a decision, she will treat the brunette better this time!

Sota smiled. "Thank you for this, Ms. Hana. I'll make sure to not let your effort go to waste!"

Hana's smiled shines even more indicating her happiness. "Please just call me Misaki!"

"Then just call me Sota to be fair! Oh! We need to go now, let's go together, shall we?" Sota offered her hand which Hana accepted.

A friend indeed is what we need in the most ridiculous situation. Hana's smiled turned into a smirk. Very naive.

After class, Sota and Anade are the only left in class. Anade saw how her best friend smiled at the girl she hates. She's not happy at all. So she confronted her. Which Sota already expected.

"Notari Sota! What does that mean? Why did you just randomly became all friendly to that stupid girl!?" She said and slammed the desk.

Sota sighed. "Why are you being so mean? Didn't you see how she effort on giving us bento?"

It's true. Before the class starts, Hana hurriedly handed Anade a pink bento. She accepted it, although she ain't planning to eat it at all.

Anade rolled her eyes. "I don't care! She's being so cheeky around Senpai! Those kind of girls are attention seekers!"

Sota angrily stood up. "Anade! You're being unreasonable! She was injured and Hotaru helped her! It's not her fault! Plus, we literally doesn't even know her that much, why are you judging her just because she talked to your senpai!?" Sota said highlighting the word Senpai.

"You don't understand! Even when I got home last night, Senpai asked me if I know her number! How ridiculous is it!? He didn't even asked me if I got home safely, he straight up asked about her number!"

Sota took a deep breathe. She's trying to calm herself, reminding herself about how their friendship will go to waste if she loose her cool.

"Anade, Hotaru won't ask if we get home because he literally walk us until we reached our house' front door...."

But Anade is still yet to calm. "I hate that bitch! She probably planned to hurt herself in front of senpai just to get his attention!"

Sota was about to answer when she heard sobs from the front door. There, she saw Misaki with a shock and hurt expression. Sota felt her heart broke seeing how the cheerful girl is crying.

Anade saw it too.

"M-Misaki..." Sota said while she's trying to hold the brunette. But Misaki just said sorry and run away.

"Wait! Misaki!" the brunette is already far away. Sota angrily look at Anade. "I can't believe I am a friend with someone like you."

Hotaru is walking into his favourite spot to read his favourite book when he saw some running. Her long and curly brunette hair that is messed by the wind, and her notable figure that could pass as a model, Misaki was running with no direction but since her foot is still injured from yesterday, she fell.

Hotaru hurriedly came to help her but froze when he saw the girl crying. "H-Hey, A-Are you—"

Hana is sobbing. "It's my fault! I-I'm sorry! I... I shouldn't— I shouldn't have been so clumsy! I didn't mean to talk to you, Senpai!"

Hotaru is confused and worried. Hana is crying so much that can't even utter a word without sobbing. "What do you mean? Are you alright? What happened?"

Hotaru saw Sota running to their location. Sota kneel in front of the sobbing Hana and look at her with worried eyes. She held Hana's shoulder. "Misaki... I'm sorry, ok? You shouldn't have heard it. What Anade said is not true, alright? Please, don't cry!"

"What did she heard?" Hotaru asked with a hint seriousness.

Sota was about to answer when Anade appeared walking to them.

Sota glared at her long time friend. "You know that I could tolerate you talking bad about others but not to this extent!"

That got Hotaru's attention. He look up to Anade who's now pale when she saw him looking at her. "What really did happen?"

"I'll tell you later, but first, let's bring her to the clinic. Her foot is bleeding."

Hotaru carried Hana until they reached the clinic. The new nurse, Erika is taking care of the injured girl when the three are talking. "So, What happened?" Hotaru asked.

Sota glared at her friend who looks like she's about to cry any moment. But Sota doesn't care anymore. What her friend did could put a wound in the brunette's heart.

"Anade is mad that your appointment with her yesterday is cancelled and she blamed it to Misaki, this morning, Misaki gave us both bento that she probably worked hard to make last night and that made Anade mad for unknown reason so started badmouthing her and Misaki heard it."

Anade turned pale. All her effort to gain her senpai's trust disappeared in thin air. Up to this moment, she have no one to blame but Hana Misaki.

Hotaru is shock and mad at the same time. The poor girl gave effort in giving them something and that happened? He cannot comprehend what he is feeling at the moment. He want to hurt someone but who could it be? He can't just hurt a girl.

"So you're saying... Ms. Hana heard Anade talking unnecessary and unpleasant things behind her back? But... Why would you do that, Anade? Ms. Hana even praised and compliment you when we are talking yesterday."

That broke Sota's heart. Her guilt doubled and her anger to her friend grew. She glared at Anade.

Anade's teary eyes met Hotaru's. She have no choice but to fix this! She can't just let her effort go to waste!

"I'm sorry. I will apologize to her, I swear! I was just mad and stressed! I didn't mean what I said!"

Hotaru might believe her, but Sota know her friend very well. She's aware whenever her friend is being fake.

"Go and apologize, Anade. Ms. Hana doesn't deserve your treatment to her." Hotaru said.

Erika walk to them. "Her injury is not severe, Though, I advise to not let her run and walk too much."

They nodded and walk to Hana who's laying in one of the bed. Anade sat on the bed and put a sad smile. The fake smile didn't came unnoticed to Sota.

Anade held Hana's hands. "Misaki, I'm so sorry about what you heard. I was just stressed about what happened yesterday. I swear, I didn't mean it! So please, Misaki, Forgive me?"

Hana's face glow in delight. "Really? You didn't mean it?" Anade nod with a smile. "Then, I forgive you! You must be having a hard time, then I understand!"

Anade smiled even more. If pleasing the dumb brunette with gain her senpai's trust, then with all her fakeness, she'll do it.

Too bad, no one noticed how the brunette's eyes glint.
