The Newbie in the Office : Chapter 1

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP! [9:00]

Messy black hair and with dark eyebags hanging by the edge of her eyelids, Saya tries to turn off her digital alarm clock while getting ready for work. The light from her phone illuminates a text message; 'A new worker is employed this week, remember to make a good impression! (◠‿・)—☆'

" Sh*t! sh*t! sh*t! I'm late for work!"

Scrambling to put her clothes on and brushing her teeth, Saya could only get ready for work by a few minutes without brushing her hair. Riding a taxi to her office , knowing she'll definitely be scolded by her boss.

In her cubicle , she was being gloated at by her colleague , Matthias. "Wow, you look terrible. Has anyone told you how you look like a panda?"

"Shut up! You were the one who made work overtime you bastard!"

While Saya was busy cussing Matthias out, a little someone peeked around the corner. With her bright cherry blossom coloured hair that may as well be dyed , her innocent look was not an act. Watching two employees fight was definitely super akward for her.

"Anyways , we're having a meeting at like, 10, so don't sweat it."

"What?! Why didnt anyone tell me?!"

"Your loss."

Arguably, most people wouldn't mind but Saya was already tired since college and had given up on herself, so having to do a meeting so soon would just suck the life out of her soul, the only thing that keeps her going is the coffe machine in the lounge room. But maybe today isn't going to be too bad,right? Right? RIGHT??
