Chapter 2: Outside

I've been walking for five minutes and I barely got far only because I kept checking if I locked the doors to the house because people might try to sneak in.

*CRUNCH!*

'What was that?' I immediately started checking my surroundings 'damn im in the middle of the street if anything came at me I would have a lot of space to fight...that is if it's a one on one'. Im only looking for a convenient store so it shouldn't take long 'if I encounter a HZ then stab it in the head and it's over at least that's what the people said online'. I continue to walk for about 10 minutes until I spot a convenient store just a little further ahead "fuck there's moss and shit everywhere" but I continue to head over.

*YAAAGH*

"Holy hell!" I stared at the HZ before I realized how loud it was yelling 'damn it's going to cause attention!'. When it started walking towards me I noticed I can easily get rid of the HZ 'it's slow as long as I put enough force to penetrate it's skull'. I grabbed one of the kitchen knives that was on my hip and sprint towards the HZ 'now!' I twist my body to the right while keeping my left hand stretched out in front of me and swung the knife straight into it's temple.

*DING*

I look around to see if there were more around 'I tried way too hard to kill that one HZ *sigh*" taking the knife out of the HZ's head and kicked the body to check if it was dead. Feeling that the HZ's scream may cause some more to come I run to the convenient store and blocked the door with random things I could find just to be safe. 'Wasn't I supposed to get a game like screen show up in my face or something' I start looking around to see if it would show up "oh shit I forgot you have ask for it to come out" I tried to remember what the people online told people to say when they get it 'it was something like...status'.

This...it's true I guess everything they said was true but how is leveling up hard its only 50 "don't tell me I have to kill 50 HZ's". This is stupid but I have 5 stat points so just to be careful I'll put three in sense and the rest in endurance. *Sigh* now that's over...I can't believe any of this but all I know is I need food for right now I can't be bothered by this other stuff. But seriously it's kind of cool I could just think and distribute the stat points with a thought anyway I should look around. I start walking around looking for a bag or something to carry the things im going to take 'I should've brought a backpack what a damn idiot'. Finally finding a grocery bag behind the counters I start putting the most important foods in the bag well mostly just meat and vegetables and fruits and a little bit of snacks 'damn im going to have to go home and come back later with a bigger bag or something' I start walking to the entrance of the convenient store and start removing the random shit I put in front of the door.

*GRRRR* *YAAAGH* *BURRRRRGH*

'I knew that HZ's scream caused others to come over...*sigh*' my body started to shake even though I already killed one but there's about 20 of them in front of me now. But im curious how much it'll take to level up do I have to kill 50 of them or I get a certain amount on each one "there's only one way to find out". I put down the grocery bag and grab two knifes from my belt and aim one of the knifes at their heads and throw it will all my strength.

*KUCK* *DING*

It made a sound like cutting leather. I take my last knife off my belt and while I wait for the HZ's to get closer I see how much 'experience' I got from one HZ.

So you get three for one HZ 'wait then why do people say it's hard to level up...probably because their scared they're going to get surrounded'. Well enough waiting 'they are getting close to me' I start running towards the one closest and kicked it in the stomach causing it to lean forward and stabbing it in the eye and reaching it's brain. I quickly take the knife out of the HZ's head and back up letting another HZ come forward and repeated the process until they was all dead.

"Haa...that took longer than I thought but my plan worked". Now that the fight was over I went to pick up the knife that I threw at the HZ and put it back on my waist. I look at my status and see I have leveled up just like I thought well 20x3 is 60 and I even have leftover experience. I go grab the grocery bag I put on the ground and and started speed walking my way home. 'I feel as though someone is watching me..even if they are watching me I have a gas mask so they won't be able to see my face'. I keep up my pace but now i can hear footsteps as if trying to keep up to me from behind 'put 6 points into strength and 4 into agility.

The footsteps start to get closer and closer "fuck it" I hurriedly turn around and check if someone was behind 'huh?' it was a man and a woman.They just stood there awkwardly and didn't say anything they just kept looking at me.
