Ace sat besides the driver's seat while I drove. Ace constantly steal glances at me throughout the entire car ride.
He would occasionally compliment me, and all I could do was smile. "I'm still a little nervous, Ace." I mumble, and what I just said is the simple main truth.
Ace smiles at me and reaches out his hand to touch my hair. "I, too, am nervous." Ace declared, causing my eyes to light up with surprise.
I'm expecting him to say something nice to me that will help calm my tense nerves, but Ace is a real life jerk. He admitted to being nervous, which made me panic even more.
His statement was of no help to me in any way. "You're not helping. I'm hoping you'll say something nice to me." Mister handsome, I declare.
He laughs. "But I'm also expecting sweet words from you because I'm more than nervous and you won't believe me." Ace declares.
