Chap 47:- The Fight Awaits

When Zeno finally woke up he found Rain and Renn beside him.

"Hey, you guys... What are you both doing here?" Zeno scratched his head and sat up on the bed.

"We were worried about you..." Renn went ahead and handed him a glass of water.

Zeno slowly gulped it down.

"Thanks very much, Renn Rain." Zeno smiled at them and moved his gaze outside the window.

"What are you staring at?" Rain asked out of curiosity when she found Zeno submerged in his thoughts.

"Oh... It's nothing... I was just thinking about how should I repay the death of my babies..." Zeno became all gloomy when he remembered about his snake babies.

"Don't worry captain, you can crush the whole tournament and show them your gratitude." Rain grabbed Renns arm and began to pull her out of the room, "And don't think too much, they died bravely!"

Zeno felt really relieved on hearing her words, he took a deep breath and lied down, "Dont worry both of you... Daddy would crush them for you." After saying that Zeno went back to sleep.

*Knock Knock*

"Captain!! It's almost time we leave for the tournament!!" Catherine knocked onto the hotel room in which Zeno lived.

She continued to knock for another whole minute but got no response.

"Oh boy... Either he stays awake forever or stays asleep forever... He's such a pain!"

Catherine Decided to blast off the door with her mana, but before she could the door opened and Zeno was standing at the door, chewing his blanket.

"Zeno!!! You pathetic bastard! Who will tell that you are eighteen! And why are you still sleeping?? It's almost time we get out for our Final match!" Catherine grabbed his shirt and shook him until he woke up.

"Ahhh... Cat girl... Let me sleep... Don't be my grandpa..." Zeno yawned and fell asleep while standing.

"Im not Cat girl!!! It's Catherine!!! And what are you a horse??? Sleeping while standing up! Get up or we will really get late!!" Catherine dragged Zeno to the bathroom and threw him in the bathtub.

*Bam*

"Ouch ouch ouch... What are you doing...?" Zeno was still feeling a Lil sleepy.

Catherine took his toothbrush and paste and three at it him.

*Boink*

"Hey... Don't do that..." Zeno patted his head where she threw the toothbrush and toothpaste.

She turned on the tap and cold water fell on Zeno, "Hey Hey!!! It's too cold!!"

Zeno instantly woke up when cold water was dumped onto him.

"Be quick! Ten minutes a second more and I will drag you naked to the battlefield!" Catherine slammed the door and waited for Zeno, lying down on the bed.

"Wow... She's scary..." Zeno quickly brushed his teeth and took a quick bath.

After a few minutes, Zeno quickly came out his lower half wrapped under a towel.

"Huh? You still here?" Zeno didn't expect her to still be there.

Catherine was embarrassed on seeing Zeno like that, she never expected he would have been in such great shape.

"I... It's nothing! I thought you would sleep again! T... Thats all..." Catherine covered her face and dashed out of the room.

But Zeno teleported right in front in front of her, he gently embraced her hair and continued, "Im wide awake, you want something?" Catherine couldn't hold back her embarrassment anymore.

"You fool!!"

*Bam*

She punched Zeno back into the room and locked the door.

"Ouch... I was just fooling around..."

"He looked really p...pretty..." Catherine sat in the hotel's reception, she whispered it in a low tone, almost in audible.

"You said something?" Rain was sitting beside her going through her phone's gallery.

"N. No, you heard something?" Catherine shook off her thoughts when Rain spoke.

"Oh... My bad." Rain giggled and went back to her work.

She continued to scroll and blush at the same time, and this was the first time she did soo.

So Catherine decided to ask her what she was doing, "What are you doing? Why are you blushing like crazy?"

"Oh... It's nothing..." Rain quickly hid her phone behind her.

Catherine clenched her eyes and continued, "If you won't tell me... " she took a breath and continued, "I will just find it out myself!"

Catherine jumped on Rain and tried to check her phone.

"Show me... You bitch..." Catherine tried to push her down the couch but it was no use.

"No... Please leave Catherine... Don't be like my mom..." Rain was trying her best to push her away.

"You both look soo cute like this, haha." When they both were pushing each other, Zeno came out all dressed up, in his navy blue suit and black inners, and silver piercings shone brilliantly.

He quickly took a few pics of them.

"No!!!" Rain quickly got up pushing Catherine away.

*Thud*

The phone which Rain was trying to hide fell right in front of Catherine.

"No..." Rain whined when she saw Catherine picking up her phone.

She was really surprised to find out what she was blushing at.

"Huh... Here you go..." She handed over her phone back to her.

Zeno wore his mask and walked out of the hotel.

"Catherine I have a dear request for you," Zeno asked with a smile on his face.

"Huh... Just say ut, don't laugh with hat ugly face... You look much more handsome with your actual face." Catherine quickly covered her mouth when she realised what she said.

"Oh... Sorry, can you please check out from the hotel?" Zeno smiled awkwardly trying not to smile too much.

'Ahhhh!!! What have I said!'

"A... Alright, I will do it." Catherine quickly rushed to the reception and completed all the requirements.

"Please follow us, we will be at the stadium!" Zeno rushed towards the stadium in their van, they were already half an hour late.

"So... What will we do?"

"Nothing, just run away when the tenth opponent appears," Zeno replied with a smile.

Renn felt a chill run through her spine.

"Can't believe you have been with Drake for only two days..." Even Rain was surprised to actually meet someone who has the same vibe as Drake.

"My vibe huh? My darkness is much denser than his, you just wait until I lead the Black Sea."

'At times... He's soo cold... And sometimes he's soo happy, like a totally different person.'

At the stadium:-

"Esteem Soul has two more minutes for their arrival! If they don't come by that time, Jade would be given the victory! And the Flare continent will be the victors for year 9425!!!"
