Chapter 43

"Once you're feeling better, you can return to the office. Just be careful, the wound could reopen." The doctor scolds her. "Yeah, yeah. Thanks, doc." She stands up and moves her arm. "How is the baby?" Ezra chuckles at the doctor. "Great, Izuku has been an amazing father, waking up for the baby and me." The doctor smiles. "Good, well, you don't need to come again unless it bleeds or you want physical therapy." Ezra nods, she then leaves and starts to walk toward her house. She looks up to see Izuku jumping across rooftops with the baby on his back. He jumps down and makes a shadow clone. It takes the baby and hands him to Ezra. "To be honest, he makes it harder to work out. He's getting heavier every day." He laughs "I also noticed his hair went from green to red. Maybe he can change his hair color?" Ezra just shrugs. "Maybe. My mom had that ability, but I guess it just skipped a generation." "Well, it's just a color. I'm excited for when he grows up." Izuku tickles him. "My little Eli."

The boy and girls run towards a tree, and a door appears in it and they climb through. "Wow, that thing almost got us!" The girl hits him on the head. "You wanted to try to get into the village, and we ran from the demon, what do you think was going to happen?!" The boy gasps. "We need to tell the village leader!" They peek out of the tree and see the demon looking around, before walking away from the tree. The girl whispers to the boy, and they both start running to the village. "Where do you think you're going?" The demon sees them and starts to chase them down, matching their speed for the fun of it. "You can run, but you can't hide!" The demon purposely starts to slow down, letting the children get to the village guard. "Take us to your leader, it's urgent! The whole village could get destroyed!" He grabs their shoulders and flickers to the Hokage's office. The children run up to him and start to pull on his cloak. "Woah, calm down, what's wrong?" The children start to cry. "The village is in danger, a demon named Nick followed us and is going to destroy this place!" He starts to think. 'If this demon is who I think it is, this is really bad, but I should be able to deal with him. He teleports to the entrance and gets punched in the face causing him to fly back through a tree and landing on another. 'Okay, this demon is strong.' He easily runs up to the demon, punching it in the gut to make it bend over, then kneeing it in the face. It stumbles back and Izuku makes a seal and uses it to seal the demon. A spirit comes out of the body, and it falls onto its back. "Thank you...that...that...thing...took over my mind...it...used me...to kill...innocent...people..." Nick's voice fades as his eyes glaze over, and Izuku checks his pulse.

"Rest in peace, poor soul, and let the heavens above let him through." He easily makes a grave and puts the man's body into the ground, then fills it with soil. He starts to walk away when he hears a voice call out to him. "Why would you hope he goes to heaven after what he did?" Izuku stops and stares at the ground. "Just because he was taken over by a demon doesn't mean he IS a demon. He couldn't fight it, he was powerless against it." He hears a laugh. "You answered both of my questions." Izuku frowns. "Who are you and where are you?" He asks. "Above you." He jumps backward and looks up. A woman with green hair and a white dress holding a staff and a shield. She slowly floats down. "What are you, a goddess?" He asks, staring at her, about to activate his Rinne-Tenseigan. "Of course, and as one I can grant one wish." She smiles. "I want my mother to...no." Her smile fades, and she looks confused. 'He doesn't want his mother back from the dead? Why? This makes no sense...' Izuku clears his throat. "I want this man to go to heaven." She smiles. "Of course." She points her staff at the grave, and Izuku activates his Rinne-Tenseigan. He sees Nick's soul start to float and fly above them. She gasps and tries to shield bash him. He quickly jumps back, and gets into a fighting stance. "How do you have those eyes?! Only Gods and Goddesses have them, and they need to be the strongest God of the others, and yet I sense only a little power in you!" Izuku looks at her, and now knowing her weakness, decides to tell her anyway. "Well, I created them. The only thing I sense in you...nothing. I sense no power in you, at all." She coughs. "Well, I'm Palutena. How about we see who could win in a fight? Whoever loses must do whatever the winner says." She smirks. 'Those eyes are probably fakes, I could get him to do whatever I want!' An image of them cuddling appears in her mind. "Why not?" Izuku says, not caring at all. He teleports them both to an arena, where a countdown starts. Palutena rushes at Izuku, who is just standing there doing nothing. She uses her most powerful move, causing an explosion to land on top of Izuku. After the dust settles, Palutena's jaw drops as she sees Izuku standing there, with his armor on and a bubble shield surrounding him.
