Day 3: Preliminaries

After dropping Miriam off at their house, the time had come for Rune and Fleur to meet the others at the arena. He placed her in his bed hoping that, as the only person she had connected with recently, that she would recognize it as his. If that didn't not work, he had also left a letter explaining things on the bedside table. Rune did not have the time to sit around and wait for her to wake up but he at least wanted to make sure that she didn't freak out after waking up in and unfamiliar place.

After rushing to the meet-up spot with Fleur in his arms, he was promptly pushed inside by a panicked Raya and Luna.

"You're late."

"The preliminaries for the singles matches have already begun. Carin is going to lose it if you don't get in there. What were you even doing that took so long?"

"Sorry. It is a long story. I'll tell it to you guys later, or you can ask Fleur if you really want to know."
