The Redhead, The Raven, and The Fanboy

Chapter 11: The Redhead, The Raven, and The Fanboy

The massive hall-like living room of Tiamat's Grand Palace was bathed in golden hues from the ancient draconic symbols carved into the walls.

No matter what, Drake felt like he'd take a while— Heck. Months, or maybe just weeks, to get used to this extravagance and luxury.

He sat beside Azuraelle, their bond, with the addition of Tiamat, was deepening with every passing second!

Although, it was kind of weird to hear someone else's thoughts, or feel another person's feelings which are too strong, he still got used to this Soul Marriage within a single day.

—Why?

His personality helped.

Not only that. It was all due Azuraelle's help, her feelings and care for him, and her possessiveness that somehow makes him secure everytime he feels her love.

And all his doubts died after meeting his...Mother, Tiamat...

Her and Azuraelle never showed the slightest hint of malice or ill intent. He already knew they wouldn't hurt him.

But... Aside from Azuraelle... Why do they love him? That's what he needs to find out by himself...

The relationship with Azuraelle, her mother, and her aunts already sound like a troublesome and complicated thing.

Azuraelle was his wife and... Sister...

So, if Azuraelle is his wife, doesn't that mean Tiamat, who was also his wife, his mother and mother-in-law at the same time...?

This is getting complicated...

But he has this feeling and craving of wanting more...

He wants to feel more...

He NEEDS MORE!

It doesn't matter if his dragon side is giving him this feeling. It doesn't matter if it's all just been a single day since he "met" them.

It really doesn't.

They know him to well. And instead of feeling weak or "invulnerable" because of that, he's actually enjoying this.

Though he still needs to get used to being called Darling or Husband by them, he's slowly opening up to the idea of having a wife.

...Or shall he says. More than one wife.

But. He swore to himself. He'll adapt to this new "world", his new side, and his power.

He will get stronger for the sake of power, and mainly for his new Family.

It might not look like it, but he's having a little bit of difficulty with getting over the traumatizing memory that he suddenly dreamt about.

He learned its cause from Azuraelle; it was all because of the bond that linked their souls, as the moment it appeared, that memory was finally unlocked by his mind.

His brain deemed it was necessary and also because his mindset, and every single cell in his body grew stronger and more profound.

Basically, Drake's newfound sense of belonging slowly took root.

...

Everything seemed tranquil inside the room.

—Until it wasn't. Muhahahahaha!

A sudden crackling sound filled the air, sharp like the tearing of reality itself.

Drake's senses sharpened immediately, so were Azuraelle's.

Before them, two portals materialized out of thin air.

The one on the right swirled with vermillion red flames and streaks of gold, its mere presence was emanating an aura of destruction so intense that Drake involuntarily shivered.

The hair on the back of his neck stood up, and he could feel the force pressing down on him, as though the very air had turned hostile.

"Grrhh..." He growled, and Azuraelle quickly placed her hand on his while Tiamat watched with interest.

'Interesting... Even if he is a Greater Dragon God, he was still a newborn, so he should have fainted...

If he was normal in the first place, fufufu~' Tiamat thought to herself, but this thought didn't echo in Drake nor Azuraelle's head.

Tiamat, as the Primeval Dragon Goddess and Mother of Dragons and "Humanity," could easily "lock" her thoughts from being heard.

After all, she...was the one who invented it.

What is that soul thing? It was like a pact or a contract between two individuals or more, which linked their souls together and because of that they could hear and feel each other in a more spiritual matter.

It was a bond that —if we talk about fresh pact —ensured the growth of the individuals' feelings for each other in no time until they were more than lovers.

However, once it was established, it would be impossible to cancel it.

It was one of the seven impossible concepts to break. And what are those? Their story will be revealed later.

So, it was an eternal contract.

Side effects?

—Unless you are a douchebag or a cuckold or a "funny" whore, with all due "respect", it would be cons for you.

——That's what Azuraelle thinks, and her opinion was approved and backed up by the Primeval Goddess, the Five Primordial Dragon Gods, and Drake himself, the new Greater Dragon God.

Leaving that aside, the pros are simple and easy to understand:

One: Unstoppable, unlimited, and boundless growth of feelings; as long as Drake's feelings "interact" with Azuraelle's, their overwhelming feelings for each other will grow.

Two: The Ability to read each other's thoughts.

Three: Can always locate each other no matter what planet or world or realm they are in.

Four: Not even Death can separate the bearers of that pact. How? ...That's for you to find out! Hahaha!

And, these "side effects" can be mastered over time.

The mastery can also be faster if the individual who wants to master them has a great potential.

He somehow learned how to send his feelings when he wanted to do that for Azuraelle, but he needs to pick up with the other effects of this pact.

After all, he can turn them from passive to active, and vice versa, if he has the mastery.

Drake really loved this pact thing; his personality and perspective fit for that.

Back to where we were...

Drake's body trembled despite his best effort to keep calm.

To the left, a second portal emerged, this one darker — deep black, like the void of an abyss, rimmed with eerie grey hues that seeped an aura of death, decay, and corruption.

Drake's chest tightened, and a cold sweat broke out along his brow.

Even Azuraelle, always so composed, and always focused on her husband, stiffened beside him.

Her eyes narrowed at the dark portal as if bracing herself for what —or who —would step through.

Who's she kidding? She knows who's coming, because her mother secretly signaled for them to come!

'FUCK!' She cursed; she didn't like this feeling of sharing her man with her mother and aunts! He's hers!

But, even if she's mad at them...they still watched over and always protected her beloved Drake...

She's conflicting with herself; she knows that...

'Hmph. Who cares!' But she is too crazy to care about it.

Tiamat remained unbothered, her expression soft and welcoming as she sat elegantly on her throne-like chair.

Her eyes gleamed with joy at the sight of the portals.

There was no fear, no concern, only a maternal warmth that seemed oddly out of place given the ominous forces swirling before the three.

Three heartbeats passed.

Then, from the dark portal stepped out a striking woman.

She was a black-haired beauty.

Her eyes, warm and gentle, are grey and devoid of pupils, which is giving her an ethereal yet gorgeous appearance.

Her figure is curvaceous and voluptuous, and her sexy sway of her hips can make any man cower before her for attention.

Though... She was only exaggerating her hip moves solely for the only man in this room.

But, unfortunately, he couldn't see that because, he was on the verge of collapsing due to her presence, which carried something incomprehensible for him.

...The Power of Death, and the Concept of the End.

She wore a revealing black gown, which was elegantly cut to show off her cleavage, with lacey openings at her thighs.

Her stride was confident, regal, and fierce, as if she commanded the very ground she walked upon, with a seductive jiggle of her breasts.

From the vermillion portal stepped another striking woman.

She was a redhead.

Every bit as stunning as the first, with long locks that cascaded down to her butts like a river of molten lava. With deep red eyes that looked sharp and piercing.

She wore a form-fitting dark red dress with slightly thin golden lines across the edges, and it highlighted her voluptuous figure, as well as her sculpted and toned six-pack abs, and perfect buxom that was neither too big nor small, with a single opening along her right thigh.

Her presence radiated an aura of heat, but it wasn't just physical warmth. It was power... Another incomprehensible thing for Drake.

—The Power of Destruction.

Her walk was both graceful and fierce; like that of a queen and a warrior — a Warrior Queen.

Drake stood abruptly, his instincts kicking in as both women strode toward him and Azuraelle.

The sheer raw power emanating from these two made him feel small, insignificant even.

Yet, at the same time, he couldn't deny the growing thrill of being in the presence of beings so mighty.

He felt... more alive!

His body, without him realizing, adapted quickly to the two women's presence, and he looked more calm and composed now.

He didn't understand why, but a wide, excited grin spread across his cheeks, and it flashed his white teeth and...long fangs.

His fangs weren't that long, but they were slightly longer than a human's.

All the women in the room noticed that, and they couldn't help but grin back at him.

That's the case for the three older women actually...

Azuraelle was just staring at him wide-eyed; 'This smile... Don't tell me he's a battle maniac!?'

Azuraelle would still love Drake no matter how much he changed, as she knew he'd face changes after turning him into a dragon, but she swore to herself she will ensure his very core doesn't change.

However, she has some "bad" experiences with battle maniacs...

She eyed the woman with the abs with a wary look.

All of these thoughts happened in just few seconds, then Azuraelle rose as well, her gaze flicking between the women with a mixture of apprehension and familiarity.

Tiamat, still seated, greeted them with a loving smile: "Ah, my dearest sisters." She softly said: "Welcome home."

The redhead slightly nodded to Tiamat and was the first to speak.

Her voice was commanding, deeper than most women's, but rich and feminine all the same.

"So." She said, her eyes locking onto Drake, sizing him up with a seriousness that made his pulse quicken.

She stood only ten centimeters shorter than him, yet her presence felt like she towered over him. "This is him."

Drake's breath caught in his throat as her intense gaze bore into him, but his smile widened even further.

There was nothing soft about her scrutiny — it was as if she were measuring every inch of him, weighing his worth in ways he couldn't even begin to fathom.

He could feel the destructive power radiating from her, and for a brief moment, it overwhelmed him, and excited him at once.

"Yes." Tiamat replied serenely. "This is Drake. Our beloved, and..." She trailed off as she smiled seductively; "the new addition to our little family~ Fufufu~"

The redhead liked his smile, his posture and stature, how he held himself inspite being a new baby dragon who was born just hours ago, and how he was an open book to her.

Like Azuraelle and Tiamat, she felt all his feelings and thoughts, and she already knew something that turned her on.

He was like her...

'Ahhh~ It was worth it~' She thought to herself, but just like Tiamat and Azuraelle, she controlled these thoughts from transmitting to his mind.

Make no mistake, even if she weren't "connected" to him this way, he would still be an open book for her.

Why?

—Because she knew this smile all too well!

It was Exactly like hers when she is excited, when she meets a good opponent, when she meets someone she's sure can learn something from.

However, there was only one person the redhead learned something from.

Her teacher— But let's leave this story for another time.

Her lips curved into a smirk as she extended a hand toward Drake.

"Scathach,"

—WHAT A BOMBSHELL!

"Primordial Dragon Goddess of War and Destruction."

Drake's eyes widened in disbelief. "S-Scathach?"

He barely managed to contain his excitement, his stoic facade cracking as his gaze flickered between her and Azuraelle, while his hand subconsciously extended to shake hers.

"You mean the Scathach? The Scáthach from Celtic mythology? The legendary warrior queen, the one who trained the lucky motherfucker named Cú Chulainn?"

—The floodgates opened!!!!

Drake rattled off every achievement he knew of her, her legendary battle prowess, her undefeated status, her fearsome training regimé, and all the while, his heart raced.

He was standing in front of one of the most legendary figures from myth, the very embodiment of destruction and war.

His mouth was moving faster than his brain could catch up.

Azuraelle's face twisted into a dry, irritated expression.

And from the corner of his eye, Drake could see Tiamat's lips pressing into a thin line, her serene demeanor cracking slightly as she watched him gush over her sister.

Both mother and daughter shared a deadpan look.

' 'Why is he acting like such a fanboy? A die-hard fan?? A damn fan girl!?!? ' '

The two thought in unison.

And, of course, because of the Soul Marriage bond, and since they didn't "lock" their thoughts, Drake, the redhead, and the raven all heard their thoughts clearly.

Drake quickly composed himself, clearing his throat and attempted to act as though he hadn't just lost his cool.

His face, however, betrayed him with a faint blush creeping along his cheeks.

He coughed into his fist and assumed a look so serious that it could've been convincing if not for the blush on his chesks.

"I mean… I'm Drake Valiant."

Scathach's eyes gleamed with amusement, and her lips curved into a wider smile.

There was something teasing, almost playful, in her expression now.

Suddenly, she threw her head back and laughed — a deep, booming sound that reverberated through the hall-liks living room, and it was majestic and infectious.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

She placed a "little" firm hand on his left shoulder, and his bones made a cracking sound but didn't break.

"Well, well, aren't you an excited one, little dragon?" She said with a mixture of admiration and amusement.

"I didn't expect you to know so much about me."

Azuraelle and Tiamat both blinked in shock, their eyes widening at the sight of Scathach laughing so hard.

It was such a rare occurrence, they couldn't help but exchange looks of disbelief.

'Is hell about to freeze?' Tiamat thought, her expression bewildered.

Azuraelle, on the other hand, had a brief flash of memory — of her "training" with Scathach years ago.

Her eyes flickered with fear as she gulped; she recalled the experience: 'That wasn't training… That was torture.' She shuddered.

Meanwhile, Drake, oblivious to why Scathach was laughing, took the opportunity to admire her further.

His gaze dropped momentarily to her defined six-pack abs, as a wider grin formed on his face as he did.

He couldn't help but think how sexy the woman's abs are.

Both his fetish for feminine abs and, his dragon side were screaming at him to hug the woman's abs right here and then.

The faint growls of irritation from Azuraelle and Tiamat broke him from his reverie, but not before Scathach noticed the direction of his gaze.

Her laughter intensified, this time with a slight blush of her own.

She was clearly enjoying this interaction far more than anyone else in the room.

"You… Hahahaha." Scathach chuckled, her eyes twinkling with mirth and something more. "...You've got quite the audacity... Drake Valiant."

Drake swallowed, feeling the eyes of all four women on him.

But instead of feeling cornered or nervous, he found himself smiling. A big, happy, and satisfied smile.

He didn't care that they were looking at him like predators. In fact, the attention felt… exhilarating. Their looks were.

Scathach's laughter finally subsided, and she stepped closer to Drake, placing another firm hand on his other shoulder, and his bones made another cracking noise.

"Yes." The redhead's voice was low and filled with warmth: "I am that Scathach. In the flesh. Though, I don't belong to the Celts. I, like Tiamat, was born before the Mesopotamian civilizations, and in the same land."

Drake's eyes widened in surprise; "You're from Mesopotamia?"

Scathach nodded, her smile widening. "Indeed. You could say we're countrymen, Drake."

Drake's grin only grew wider. His idol was from the same land as him?

—Damn.

Before he could respond, his attention shifted to the black-haired woman who had remained quiet throughout the exchange.

She stepped forward with a slow, deliberate sway of her hips, and her dark gaze was locked onto Drake.

Though behind her seductive smile was a storm of possessive intent.

"BITCH!" Azuraelle's snarl echoed through the room, and she moved to intervene, only to be halted midair by a wave of the black-haired woman's hand.

Drake's eyes narrowed at the display of power which was used on Azuraelle, and irritation sparked within him as he glared at the raven.

The black-haired woman seemed to enjoy his reaction, her smile widening as she suddenly pounced on him, and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Now, now," She purred, her voice dripped with sensuality. "no need to be angry~"

She pressed her palm flat against his chest, as she sent a surge of possessive love and obsessive care through the Soul Bond.

Drake stiffened as he felt her emotions crashing against his own.

He never thought this case would happen, where he'd actually hate being taken advantage of by someone he just met, especially when it involved the soul thing.

"Numrigaelle,"

She leaned in to whisper to him with her hot breath on his ear and neck: "Goddess of—"
