Do You Love Her?
Cherry was exhausted by the time she got home. She had asked one of class mate to drive her home. Adrian left her at the party knowing fully well that she didn't bring her car along.
After they entered the hall, they went separated ways. He vanished in a thin air, She asked her brother if he had seen Adrian but he said no.
She came out the hall. She looked around and found out that His car was no longer in the park.
History had repeated itself. The First party they went together, Adrian ditched her for Bianca. He told her that Bianca was sick and he needed to take her home. She understood well that Bianca was trying to make her jealous.
Today was Different, She didn't bring her along leaving her at the party like that was wrong.
"Maybe he had an emergency he needed to attend to urgently that why he left" she consoled her.
The next morning Cherry took her bath and headed to Adrian's apartment. She wanted to Know why he treated her that way.
When she walked in to the living room, Adrian laid down on the couch, chatting with Jerry . He looked so comfortable like he didn't dumped her at the party.
The boys were not aware that she entered the room. She coughed
"Cherry" Adrian moved towards her.
"How are you doing today?" He added.
"Do you care?" She left where he was standing closed to her and grabbed a glass cup and offered her self a drink.
"Yeah I do". He was unaware of what Cherry was tried to say.
"You ditched me at the party and you expect an answer for that question?"
"Oh, Cherry am sorry about the other day, I didn't do it intention" he pleaded.
"You have to forgive him sis, he came home for a good cause" Jerry chimmed.
"You had an emergency at home?"
"It's wasn't an emergency just ..."
"It's was emergency don't mind him" Jerry told her.
"You won't believe me sis, if I tell you what happened here last night"
"Last night?" Cherry was surprised. She missed a lot.
"Yeah, last night"
"Come on Jerry don't let the car out of the bag or else…" Adrian warned.
"Wait, you guys are keeping secrets from me? Am I no longer your friend?" She was burning with Anger and these two were playing like children.
'You are , is just that I don't want you to feel bad that I left you at the party for another girl".
"Which girl?"
"The blonde" Jerry answered. "She slept here yesterday".
"Oh, is not a big deal if she slept here last night except she slept in your bed".
"He made love to her, don't be surprised'
"What..." Cherry was furious.
"Yeah, I thought I was a bad boy, but This guy is the best player in Oxford" Jerry pointed at his Best friend.
Cherry looked at Adrian. She was shocked by his expression, he was laughing over such a serious matter.
She knew she had to do something or else she was going to lose him forever.
"Adrian, this is such a serious matter and you are laughing. What funny?"
The boys stopped laughing, they all looked at cherry and wondered why she was so serious about this.
"What happened cherry?"
"Am also a girl, I can't stand here and watch you mock her". She continued.
"We ain't mocking any one, am actually laughing at your brothers jokes".
"Do you love her?"
"Nope, I don't.. but I do feel something for her. And if this feelings keep on growing, I might have no choice than to love her" he laughed again.
This was all but a joke to them Cherry thought to her self. She had to act fast or all her hard work will go down the drain all because of a girl named CAMILLE.
Cherry thought of what she will do in order to separate these two...
An ideal hit her brain like stone! Yes, she was going to it.
