A couple was sitting on the sofa comfortably. And in front of them, Catherine and William sat with Mia on his lap.
"Father-in-law it's been our first-time meeting face to face" William was the first to speak to the man sitting in front of them.
The man had broad shoulders, and a muscular body, he had blonde hair and black eyes. Rubbing his short beard, he answered:
"Yes, William it's been a long time. I couldn't wait any longer without hearing my daughter's voice" at the end of the sentence he looked at Catherine with pleading eyes.
Catherine quickly turned her head away in annoyance.
The woman next to the blonde-haired man said with a sad face "daughter please, I don't know what can we do to forgive you"
"You know we had to do it so that you could be safe, please don't resent us," she said as tears dripped down her beautiful blue eyes.
