I quickly killed the zombie and helped the girl up. She wasn't harmed and I asked her some questions. I found out she was two years older than me and her name was Sara.

She was in the military before and since she was able to fight, I asked her if she wanted to team with me. She was reluctant at first but accepted when I told her that I had food and water. I took her to my apartment and told her about my system.

Turned out her sister was a doctor and that she was working at the hospital. Then she started to cry. I asked why and she replied that she didn't know if her sister was alive. I gave her some food and water. That was when the system showed up and asked me if I wanted to put her on my team. I could not do this in my past life.

Turns out that if I put her on my team, she can't harm me or betray me. I pressed accept since that was a good deal. Then I heard a distant knock.
