Out of a sudden he began to feel a strange energy-charged arm extending towards him. His body moved automatically, leaping back until he was near the exit.

"It's the same killing aura I felt during my fight with that man," he sighed, then stared at each of them. He was in serious trouble. If all these men joined forces to attack him, his current healing ability wouldn't help him. He wouldn't be saved like last time by the coach. His life was over.

"When I talk to you, answer my questions," stated the boy with the dagger, Niard, swearing that the ultraviolet rays emanating from his dagger were not ordinary.

"Anyone, the coach, maybe the guards, please save me," Niard felt pity for himself, once again feeling fear, the man's gaze that could kill even a glimmer of hope had the potential to sprout in his heart.

He took a deep breath and said clearly, "I am Niard Lux, I am a player of a magical system," Niard declared as his eyes focused all his concentration on the boy two steps away from him.

He had nothing else but to disclose his system, perhaps if they knew he was a magic user of some kind, they would flee from him, the smile that formed on his face just imagining these men fleeing sent a sense of exhilaration through his being.

But quickly, all the victorious moments Niard planned to celebrate vanished, the room filled with their loud laughter. "Little one, do you realize what you're saying? A magical system here in the year 4040," one of the men who had wiped tears from their laughter pronounced as if Niard had told a funny joke.

The amount of disgust Niard suppressed inside him was indescribable, he felt a heavy burden on his shoulders, "It seems his mind has been washed before entering this places." The mocking comments about Niard's statement about the magical system continued.

"I speak the truth, and I will defeat you all, just give me one month," Niard said after reaching his limit, tired of being a subject of ridicule, he wanted to prove himselfto himself first and then the rest, his grip was firm and his veins bulged.

"Alright, boy, we accept the challenge," a voice echoed from above, Niard raised his gaze to look at the speaker whose tone filled him with horror and a desire that let Niard to run away with his soul.

He didn't notice the presence of the boy sitting on a chair floating in the air, once again Niard was surprised by the extent of the advancement of the devices in this place.

"It's illogical, Tala said this place's design is old and applies to equipment and devices, how and why can this boy float?" Niard thought, what was happening in front of him was not logical.

"Did I miss something?" Tala said in a provocative tone, knowing that arguing with those with special classifications from the auxiliary armies would be a massacre, she didn't even have the authority to argue with them.

"Tala, my dear, it's been four years since our last meeting," the boy who was floating on the ground jumped down and the floor shattered beneath his feet, with each step the tiles crumbled, as if he possessed a unique supernatural force, the boy was tall, with no muscles or structure suggesting his deadly strength.

The men recoiled the moment he landed, there were ten meters between him and Tala, the entire surrounding began to disintegrate, "Nectar, damn it, maybe later," Tala said, dragging Niard away by his arm until he felt the strength of her grip, her expression betrayed anger.

"This is your response every time, maybe later," said Nectar, then he took out a medium-sized crown from his pocket and placed it on his head, smiling in a way Niard had never seen before.

"Don't worry, you won't turn into ashes if you approach me, I'm wearing the crown," Nectar spoke as he took a few steps towards Tala, who frowned in annoyance. She wondered what made him remove the protective barrier of his power and act with such carelessness.

"All I cared about was to show this boyand make him understand the meaning of power," Nectar said, suddenly cornering Niard against the wall. Strands of Nectar's long hair cascaded over his shoulders, while Niard's gaze remained unchanged, showing no reaction.

"Nectar come on," Tala shout, unaware of when Niard had withdrawn his arm from her grasp. It was truly chaotic. Nectar slowly turned his neck to face her, the smile that formed on his lips made Tala cringe.

"Please don't be angry, I'll let him go. Anything but your gloomy face. As you know, the system has decided that we are suitable to become partners," Nectar said, while Tala's anger flared up until her eyes turned red.

"That was five years ago, and many things have changed since then," Tala whispered, signaling to Niard to follow her, but he hesitated, his eyes throwing a million questions at her.

"Niard, I won't repeat myself. Let's go," she said again. He didn't argue with her but let her lead him out of the room. When they were sure they were seven corridors away from the training hall, both of them collapsed to the ground.

"Was that a limited-range explosion? I saw how atoms were being disintegrated into nothingness," Niard asked himself, turning to find Tala, the strong girl, kneeling beside him on the ground.

"Do you understand what would have happened to you if I hadn't intervened in time? You would have died for sure if Nectar, the mentally unstable, had his way," Tala shouted, hitting the wall nearby in frustration.

"It's one of the experiments that failed after reaching adulthood. The system decided that he would be the right partner for me if I chose to start a family, there's a goal that requires sacrificing every doubt and person until I achieve it," Tala said slowly.
