Hard times

A timespan of 2 years pasted, that making all that time Kilo can spent time working on making all of the children like him more. Now, Kilo was 8 years of age, a swift flyer already.

Experience from my past life is getting onto me, Kilo thought, stretching his arms and stiff tail.

"Ki! Ki, Susan called for you." A 9 year old old boy ran up to Kilo. He had large deep green eyes, medium sized wings, and silver hair.

"Hi, Oaka," Kilo greeted the silver head. "Why?"

Oaka also didn't looked like he knew, Susan always was doing something related to fighting now days.

"I don't know," Oaka panted as he stopped at the 8 year old Kilo, "but she said it was urgent."

Since Susan is older than the current me, Kilo thought, she might actually expect me to come to her.

Kilo thought about that a long time, but Susan never really called for him, and was only talking to him briefly during eating times.

Kilo sighed, then said to Oaka, "Where?"

**********

11 month old Devon was sitting in Susan's lap as Kilo entered.

"Ki," Susan scoffed but said nothing more.

Her pink hair had grown long, but she had cut it, since she actually hated long hair.

"Susan," Kilo responded respectfully, playing to the roleplay the children were keeping up.

"You must not know why I called you, right? It's urgent, and you have to be involved." Susan's facial expression turned serious.

Kilo actually couldn't act like a 6 year old boy 2 years ago, so he used his knowledge from his past life and ended up being the smartest in the whole group.

"Ah, ok. I understand." He quietly replied.

Susan beamed and tickled Devon. "We have a.. a huge problem." Susan reached her hand behind her, and pulled out a pink and yellow crystal. That was her signature.

Ravan thought this roleplay was stupid, but if it gave the children, no, his friends joy, then he was up for it. He had his own signature, a purple and cloud gray one.

Pulling his purple and cloudy gray one out, he walked towards Susan and showed her it, still not knowing why till this day.

"What is the matter?" He asked.

"We will get to that when we get to the meeting room." Susan reportedly clicked her crystal to his, then he pulled it away.

The meeting room was the room where they ate, so it was the dining room.

"When do we meet up?" Kilo walked back to his spot besides the door.

"Tonight. And since we already have enough food stacked and ready for today, please don't go back outside until maybe tomorrow." Specifically stating that maybe was a key and important word.

Kilo was bored, but he just waited for the night to come.

Kilo watched the sun go down through the exit hole, the rich red sky beaming blood like red streaks onto Kilo's face, making his hair pure white and red.

It was finally night, and Kilo closed up the exit hole with a trapdoor he had built in.

Seissylt had agreed to make a trapdoor or the exit hole, so nothing can come in while they slept. It was quite the good idea since they had been finding lots of random things under the exit hole each morning and even during the day, not the mention the cold air coming through when it's winter.

Making sure the second time it was locked and loaded, Kilo jumped and flew towards the hidden river, not hidden any longer but the new passage way to the crystal cave.

Pasting it and into the dark hole, he flew a little way until he reached the cave.

This was his second favorite place. His first, though, was outside.

Outside and fresh breeze is still my favorite from two years ago, Kilo thought, just grateful he somehow reincarnated into this strange boys body.

He finally landed down in front of his grave, the huge crystal swimming with different colors. Just 4 days ago, he realized he could see right through the colors and he saw only huge wings, transparent but could still be seen.

That day, he had no attention on works he had to do like patrolling, fighting practice, and hunting plus building, but was on how his wings didn't actually dissolve and disappear when he died.

It literally happened to so many fallen angels, but not to me? I wasn't gaven back to the grass and dirt? Crystals is still literally nature, they grow, but somehow on Unity my wings didn't disappear.

He knew he just over thought about it a lot, but he was still very concerned.

Pasting his grave, he opened the door behind it.

Everyone but Berry and Azula is here. Was his first thought, as he saw everyone but those two there.

Suga greeted him warmly. "Ki." Stop, that nickname pleaseeee..!

"Suga. Where's Azula and Berry?" Kilo bowed and took his seat. Suga sighed and answered, "they had a important thing to tell us, which the only word was 'urgent.'"

It might had been a joke if it was only Azula, but if it's Berry agreeing, then that's huge with the word 'urgent.'

Kilo was about to say something back to Suga, but before he could, Ceil lifted her head off the cold stone table. "They are coming now.." she said sleepily.

At that moment, Azula busted though the door by flying and was smiling and huge smile, going for Suga. "SUGGAAA!!"

Suga immediately jumped out of his seat and folded in his wings tightly, then dodged Azula attack.

Azula slammed right into the wall, his nose bleeding, and said, "aw man, I thought I was going to get you this meeting..."

"Well, you clearly didn't, now here." Berry's voice sounded outside and he carefully opened the door, only for it to break because it was weak from Azula's attack.

----

"We actually have no time to play." Berry was sat down beside Azula, who had a leaf wrap filled with moss to his nose.

"We have to tell you guys some very important news. When me and Azula went to go and patrol midday, we saw something concerning." He didn't smile, but had the most serious face Kilo ever saw on him.

"It was a couple of Space birds-"

"SPACE BIRDS!?" Suga screamed, shock taking over his whole face. Susan shook her head, and Araceli shivered.

Seissylt looked at Berry in disbelief. "Wha- what? Are you not kidding? Are you for real-"

"No.." Kilo though he was about to have a break down. But now, he has to stay calm, or he was really going to have that break down and not control his wings and words.

Shaking his whole body, as if to shake off the huge disbelief of Space bird spotting, he managed to force out, "where?"

"It was by that river. The river in the forest by the moor where we catch rabbits, yea? It's quite far from here, but they were seen scouting along it. I think it's time to move." Berry confessed all of this out, clearly not calm. Azula want shocked, but fear was in his eyes.

Ray suddenly stood up and slammed his fist on the stone, making everyone jump. "WE HAVE TO FIGHT!" He yelled, and silence fell opin the room.

"That's dumb, Ray." China stood up, her sky blue eyes shocked but firm determination shone in the depths of it. "Berry is right, we have to leave if we spot them."

Seren stood up and spread her wings to get everyone's attention, showing little authority but was strong indeed for a 11 year old.

"I agree, we should move now. If space birds are spotted and they get to close, they could feed us to Diseases. If they don't, fine, but-"

"WE SHOULD STILL FIGHT! THIS IS OUR HOME FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS, SO NOW WE SHOULD GIVE IT UP!?" Ray pointedly screamed at Seren.

Seren shut up right after that, and next Kilo stood up, gathering everyone's attention with his tail. "Ray, you should calm down, you know how dangerous-"

Araceli hesitantedly stood up, but gathered confidence quickly.

"So!? If it's dangerous, then let it be! I don't care, I'm agreeing with Ray!" Araceli said, then looked at Kilo in the eyes. "They blinded me, and it's only worth it to get revenge! Not to mention they fully blinded my sister." Araceli pointed to Ceil, who was sleeping soundly, somehow didn't wake up from all that noise.

Kilo sympathize with Araceli, but he already knew it was still dangerous to recklessly attack the Space birds, whatever it be.

"Look, I know, Araceli, but-"

"Yea! You know! So-"

"ARACELI, SHUT UP!" Suga screamed to Araceli, Ray getting startled that his comrade in agreement was just yelled at.

"Let Kilo, who is the most smartest from all of us, speak and give us advice. Ki, can you please tell us the most smartest way to do this?"

Araceli and Ray sat down, looking like they just got stabbed on the chest.

"AHAHAHHAHA, RAY YOU JUST GOT CALLED DUMB!? AND YOU, ARACELI! YOUR A HERBALIST, AND GETTING CALLED OUT HAS DUMB IS EMBARRASSING!!" Azula laughed genuinely hard, and shamelessly fell over, injuring his left wing. Seren didn't laugh as hard, but even if it wasn't funny, she laughed.

Kilo thought this as a mood lifted, but gratefully nodded to Suga and said, "The best way is to escape and run. Let us scout a new living place tomorrow, and then move into the place. That's the smartest way so that we will genuinely know where to go, and not run around in circles trying to find a new home." Kilo said, amazed himself at his calm and collective tone. "But, we should vote, so both parties can get their satisfaction of what to do." Kilo took out his cloudy gray and purple crystal, then placed it towards Suga.

"My crystal's side is that we not fight and he basically run," then he quickly use his tail to get Ceil's crystal out of her hands to use as the other side. "Ceil's crystal's side is where we fight, no matter how dangerous it may be." He said, placing the crystal in front of himself and sliding it right to Ray.

Suga gasped. "We should vote!? I-i don't think that's smart..."

"I don't want one party being mad with the other because of this, so voting and seeing which party wins might soothe their anger." Kilo bowed again, letting a hint of 'thats it' of a tone into his voice.

Suga hesitated, then looked at Berry for support. Berry's eyes were closed, his head down. But the silence that dragged on for 5 seconds notified him that they were looking at him, or Seissylt.

"Ok," he insisted. "Let's do that."

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
