THE RESULT OF YOUR ACTIONS
Mary with Juliet got back to the Hart's mansion with their hearts filled with anger. She just lost 1 million dollars just like that and the worst thing was that it wasn't used on herself.
As she was about to go rest and think of how to make Erika pay, Adam bashed into the room and glared at her in anger. 'This was new.'
She didn't get the chance to ask why he was angry when he walked towards her and gripped her hair tightly.
"Do you know the kind of trouble you have caused for me today, huh?" He barked.
Confused, Mary asked, "What do you mean?" He was pulling her hair so tightly, she started to feel pains.
"Don't you know the kind of damage you have caused for me at the company today? Why did you go harass Erika today in public?" He questioned, his blood boiling in anger.
Mary was shocked. 'How did he know about it?'
"Its a good thing I harassed her, she found another man to seduce so I just wanted everyone to know how shameless she was."
After saying that, a huge slap landed on her face, it was so hard that it teared her lips and blood started dripping out from it.
Mary held her cheek, staring at her husband in shock. 'Did he just slap her?'
This was the first time he had laid his hands on her and all because of that bitch Erika. She hated Erika even more.
Adam asked, "I don't care if she has found another man or not, but my problem right now is that your actions resulted to many damages for me. Someone took a video of the whole scene and uploaded it on social media. Now, the board of directors is starting to ask me questions and am also starting to loose investors all because of you."
If there was anything Adam valued more than his life, it was his company, the Harts Group Of Companies, so he always made sure that he was able to get rid of all the companies problems. But for one to come from his wife and daughter, he really didn't know how to react. He was furious.
Mary was stunned, someone took a video of them? This is not good. Adam has been trying to silence the netizens but no one is buying it.
More and more hateful comments about them kept appearing. While they were thinking of how to solve the matter, somewhere in a big building about 45 floors.
In one of the highest floors 44, the Vice President's floor, is a office extremely large and decorated formally, has a man with expensive tailored suit and also grim expression on his face, Adrian Hart.
He had watched the video of his step mom and step sister harassing Erika over and over again and he wasn't tired of it. He had his eyes on Erika during the whole recording.
She had no expression on her face even after being accused of having another man the same day they registered their divorce.
The black card was something he had never seen her with before. Could it be that she didn't accept the alimony because she already had someone she was seeing and that made her agree to the divorce. That thought didn't sit well with him.
He gripped the phone tighter in anger. "She really is a slut." He said, but for some unknown reason he was jealous, extremely jealous that she had given up on their marriage just like that. But he seemed to have forgotten he was the one who always persuaded her to sign the divorce papers.
He wanted to talk to her so he tried calling her and saw that he blocked her number a long time ago, thinking there was no reason that he show pick up her call. But now, he was the one calling her.
He unblocked it and called her.
On the other side, Monica and Erika were playing games when the call came in. They were both surprised. Erika stared at the ringing phone and look at Monica who nudged her to accept the call. She picked it."Who is this?" She questioned coldly. Monica giggled quietly.
Adrain was shocked that she didn't recognize his number, he felt embarrassed for a moment and replied, "It's me, Adrian."
Erika replied,
"What do you want?"
She had seen the news too and suspected that he was calling to say something about it.
"Is it true that you have another man?" He couldn't help but ask.
"What is your business with it? We are already divorced, remember? It's still the same day that we divorced so I don't think i need to remind you of that."
"So it is true, then? You reallu are a slut. I don't know what grandma saw in you and I even regret the day that I met you."
"Mr Hart, i don't think I need to proof anything to you, am not related to you in any ways. I already told your mum and sister that they should stop questioning me and here you are, doing the exact same thing.
"You know, am starting to think that you all are just a bunch of nosy people, well if there is nothing else I will go now, I don't have the time to entertain a jobless man." And she hung up the call after saying that.
She didn't understand these people, they have always wanted her to leave and now she has fulfilled their wishes they won't let her rest.
