Chapter 80 – A Visit

Class finished that day and I returned to my dorm as I usually did. I fixed myself something hot and had a good meal before showering.

I was exhausted, or at least felt like a person exhausted and I didn't exactly know why. As I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling above me, the memories of Miss Dorian's speech reoccurred in my mind.

The test wasn't a big concern for me since I was sure I was going to be amongst the ones in the class to ace it. However, another thing concerned me as regards the matter of the quarterly test and this also concerned another scholar like myself.

Fucking James Melbourne.

Quite a time had passed since I separated him from the Lust Demon, Notsack, and he was recovering just fine but not as fast as I'd expect. Luckily for him though, he had entered a phase of healing where I could intervene and speed things up, only stopping myself because I wanted his healing to be as natural as possible. Sadly, time was not on his side.
