Chapter 54 – Karmen's Trauma

Karmen snapped and yelled at Miles, shocking other members of the Ruby class present.

They were surprised because that was an unusual behaviour from Karmen.

She was the prim and proper kind of girl who liked to mind her business. She was not too interested in things that didn't concern her directly and was not too indifferent towards them either.

She always found a balance.

A public display of anger was certainly going to come as a shock when shown by someone with such a reputation.

Miles was silent for seconds as he watched Karmen burst out of the classroom.

After a few more seconds, he realised himself and blinked several times.

"What is she so worked up about?"

Karmen slammed the door behind her and headed towards the girls' restroom.

She burst in and made her way straight to the array of sinks and mirrors, leaning on one as she watched her reflection.
