Arion becomes Masked Li's target

"Who's that man? I don't remember knowing him," Arion inquired. Thorian's anger surged, realizing his efforts to end the young man had failed. He pondered if Arion was somehow born with many lives.

As the guards took him away, Arion felt a familiar drag once more. He clutched his chest, pain surging. "I felt this drag earlier. Where is it coming from?" he questioned, resisting the invisible force moving westward from the palace.

Blue light enveloped him, and his body vanished in a momentary strong breeze.

Inside the palace, Bandu and Songwan sect leaders, alongside Valerian, approached Master Jang.

"Are you leaving?" asked the Songwan sect leader.

"Yes, right now. I must repent for my deeds," Master Jang replied, turning to Valerian. "Your Royal Highness, I have a request for my services."
