Lucas dashed forward, his sword held tightly in his hands. He sent dark crescents at the boss monster non-stop, a maddening smile on his face.

"Di explosion!" Lucas roared. His eyes burst open in a mighty purple glow as he levitates in the air with his arms spread.

An almighty outburst of di energy exploded from within Lucas. The powerful explosion from Lucas dealt a significant amount of damage to the boss monster.

Lucas fell to the ground, then, performed a sudden dash strike. His moments was nothing, but a blur as he closed up the distance between him and his target.

He swung his sword at the monster's leg, leaving a long gash along it.

'Hell, no!' Lucas felt as he assaulted the leg of the poor monster with slashes from different angles.

The boss monster let out an earth quaking roar of pain, his eyes flashed in agony as it backed off.

Lucas was dumbstruck, but before he could recollect himself, his body began to move on it's own towards the monster.

His hands was lifted against his will, and with a speed even Lucas couldn't follow, he began to inflict damage to the boss monster.

"Ahhhhh!" Lucas couldn't stop, every futile attempt to end the wave of attacks resulted in his pain.

Lucas stood, his hands quaking as he lowered his eyes to the ground in shock. Just was what was he?

He closed his eyes. He had actually won, but he still wasn't strong enough. He will have to grow stronger, or he will fail in his goal.

Lily sat cross legged on her couch. She was comfortably watching some movie without a care for the world.

"Who is it?" Lily said without bothering to open the door.

Lucas was confused. Just who does that girl think she is? Questioning me like this...I'll show you...!

"Ah! Fidel will really get it this time. Hehe." Lily screamed from inside the room.

"Since when do you watch movies?"

Muffled came out from the room, the sound of someone running about, and things being thrown away.

The door was opened to a slit. A curious eye looked through and received the shock of her life.

"Eh-hem, come in Lucas." She said as she opened the door fully.

Lucas stepped in the room and his former smile disappeared. He was so stiff, one would've mistaken him for some stature.

"W-Who...?" Lucas stammered point his index finger to the horrific sight before him. All over his room was stocked with clothes of luxurious designs.

'My hard earned C-points!' Lucas felt his world shattering, his dreams crumbling to dust as only one face popped up in his head.

"Wait, not yet." Lily said as she instantly jumped away from Lucas. She felt helpless, he was so going berserk! "...ehm, I also bought you a full set with the cores we got from that dungeon."

And lo, standing before Lucas was a doll wearing a full set of armour. Customised to Lucas's specifications.

"A shield, vest, helm, boots, gauntlets. Slits at the back for wings and tail, sturdy and flexible. Powerful new pet." Lily drone on and on about the suit, not noticing the drool that almost leaked out from Lucas's mouth.

Lucas snapped out of his daze, instantly stood straight and turned back to Lily. His face was serious, but his eyes weren't.

So laughable.

"We are going to be fighting a duel against a guild team tomorrow, a one on one match between the strongest." Lily explained as she slumped down into her couch.

"So, after clearing a dungeon solo, I am going to fight another battle tomorrow?"
